Alright...

I watched this with my buddy Jumbie, and...

I'll give it 1 point, this would be a draw if we were talking football logic.

Not a lot of sensibility on the film pitch, a weak script held together by unintentional comedic gold which would get the Premier League title if that's what they were going for.

The ending was the weakest point and felt like it was football boothorned into the proceedings and relegating the film from floating above the relegation zone to bottom of the table.

My favourite character was the guy who owned the nightclub, or stripclub, bit confusing what sort of business he was running. He reminded me of Mini Me all grown up.

If you must watch, get some fruit twist Fanta, some Nandos crisps and maybe a Snickers or two to make it somewhat enjoyable.

Was expecting big things but.......

After seeing how many awards this film had won I was expecting it to be on par with Layer Cake or Lock Stock, a future British classic it is not.

The lead actor may look like Jason Statham but like the film he fails to live up to expectations.

I really wanted to like this film but halfway through I picked something out of my nose and it held my attention a lot more than the film.

Just so bad in so many ways

Poor acting, poor storyline. Disappointing to see the actors have rated this film themselves, shame on you.

More wooden than a shed.

I've watched some crap films in my time, but this is the biggest and stinkiest dollop of excrement ever.

Clichéd, a plot we've all seen a thousand times with every single one much better, an awful script written by someone who can't have ever had any real social interactions and the acting!......oh the acting!! The lead "actor" is so wooden he should be cast as pinocchio! Although he may have a future as a body double for Matt Lucas.

The embers should have been put out way before this rubbish hit production. AVOID!

I thought I was watching someone's rough edit

Soldiers of Embers is as entertaining as a dying giraffe. The film doesn't really do anything original or creative. Instead it just does the same type of bland action story again!

Where to start

So I was sitting there, bored at work wondering what to watch, I thought I'd give this a watch..

It wasn't the best film in the world but wasn't the worst either..

While I appreciate it is hard making a film and I know I couldn't do it myself..

I didn't feel the lead actors were believable in there roles but I guess people can only get better..

The supporting cast were good, the stand out charecter was the nightclub owner.

Maybe if there is a sequel then who knows..
