Murdoch Mysteries: The Infernal Device

1 review
10/10

Very Enjoyable series !

This is a very fine Canadian series currently in it's 9th [2015] season. The main character is Constable Murdoch a detective in the late 19th century who is ahead of his time with his detective skills, and his inventive mind. The cast of characters is well rounded, and extremely likable, albeit probably lessor known in the United States. It is somewhat tongue in cheek, and all the dead bodies aside, it is lighthearted fun. Netflix has it on their streaming section, at least the first 7 seasons, and I look forward to the their including the 2014 season soon. Part of the fun of the series is the time frame involved, where celebrities of the era show up, I.E., Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, H.G.Welles, Arthur Conan Doyle, and a harmlessly delusional character that thinks he's Mr.Doyles renowned protagonist Sherlock Holmes. This series would be a fine addition to any ones list of followed shows !
