Multiple important actors in this movie including star Iko Uwais, co-star Sunny Pang, and Julie Estelle all went on to play major roles in another excellent Indonesian Netflix action thriller The Night Comes for Us (2018). Another more minor actor in this film, Very Tri Yulisman (Besi) was the stunts coordinator for that film and this film's director Kimo Stamboel and secondary writer-director Timo Tjahjanto went on to produce and direct The Night respectively.
