Anime production company Aniplex has revealed that its mysterious visual teasers of the letters "O" and "M" are related to two new anime projects in the Monogatari light novel series.
The official anime X (formerly Twitter) account of Monogatari author Nisio Isin has revealed the teaser trailer and key visual for the new anime projects being developed by Aniplex and Shaft studio (also known for the likes of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and March Comes in Like a Lion). Akio Watanabe, chief animation director and character designer for the animated Monogatari series, is credited for the visual. The "O" and "M" teasers released this week referred to two series of books from the franchise: Off Season and Monster Season.
