Seinfeld is widely regarded as one of the best sitcoms of all time. It first aired in 1989 but remains popular. The show follows four friends: Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), George (Jason Alexander), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and Kramer (Michael Richards). But unlike other sitcoms like Friends, this group of friends are all terrible people. The comedy of the show relies on the ripple effects of their bad decisions, which cause problems for everyone around them. The problem with re-watching Seinfeld is that this premise of terrible people causing trouble is universal, but some jokes used to illustrate that in the 1990s would not work with today's audience.
These days, a joke touching on issues like racism or homophobia needs to be really smart, and undoubtedly send the right message, to be funny. Sure, there are still some "politically incorrect" comedy shows out there. Curb Your Enthusiasm and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are perhaps the best examples.

The 90s sitcom Seinfeld famously bills itself as a "show about nothing," but more honestly, it's about the selfish impulses people feel in everyday life. The sitcom follows four friends who live in New York City: Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Kramer (Michael Richards), and George (Jason Alexander). A typical episode sees the friends grappling with problems in their personal, professional, or romantic lives.
The series regularly courted controversy by having its characters voice their opinion on cultural taboos. Most storylines saw one or more of the New Yorkers vent about an annoyance in their lives. Many of their grievances centered around their need to constrain their actions due to social standards. Oftentimes, by the end of the episode, the characters embrace their worst instincts. The show's fearless attitude made it a ratings juggernaut, but it also earned a fair amount of backlash.

Some of the stars of Star Trek: Discovery have shared the keepsakes they took from the set.
Ahead of the final season of Star Trek: Discovery premiering on Paramount+, the series was discussed by several stars in an interview with Collider. In the interview, it was noted how the cast didn't know when filming Season 4 that it would be the last season, though they later reunited to film some added scenes after they knew Discovery's fate. That had some thinking that this was their chance to take home any particular mementos they might want from the set of the series. Doug Jones (Saru) was the first to respond, admitting, "I did it out loud with permission. I took my final Saru makeup prosthetics. That's at home now. And I also took my Kelpien High Council pin, my brooch."
