Touching, but very flawed.

Feel good movie

I thought I was a hopeless romantic but I don't hold a candle to this dude. Funny and sad no doubt he loves Lilly.

Remember Me..... not likely!!!

I decided to watch this following a review on here stating it's better than 'The Notebook' (a film that I thoroughly enjoyed). Unfortunately it's not a patch on The Notebook!!! Not even close!!! ......Remember Me was flat and lackluster and just didn't move me at all (and I'm someone who cries at the drop of a hat!!!). I was bored about 20 minutes in but gave it the benefit of the doubt and continued to watch in the hope it would get better. It didn't!!! I totally wasted 1½ hours of my time.

If you want to watch a film that heartily incorporates love, nostalgia and Alzheimer's into its storyline; look no further than The Notebook - visually beautiful, great direction and delivered by good actors. In fact, I wish I had watched that again instead of this copycat nonsense.

Amazing movie!

I really loved the story and how it has been directed. The cast shines, Sir Bruce Dern´s performance is from another galaxy. A must watch! I cried and laughed equally.

Profound, beautifully done

Incredibly profound film. Character development was smooth, mini laugh out loud moments yet very touching and deep romantic love story. Encompasses the feelings of nostalgia and aging in a light heartfelt manner. Atit Shah produced such a wonderful son. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in any lovely romantic comedy about the struggles and loneliness that you deal with as you age. Well done to the cast crew and everyone involved in this fantastic film. Highly recommend!

Great movie!

It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience to watch two masters of their craft, Bruce Dern and Brian Cox take us on a journey revolving around that age-old idiom, 'There is life in the old dog yet.' Their chemistry is magical, and their scene work had me laughing out loud. Of course, that is in part to a beautiful screenplay and a talented director's masterful hand. Special mentions to Sienna Guillory who stole scenes and Caroline Silhol, who brought me to tears through her carefully crafted and poignant interpretation of her character's plight. Whimsically: the story reminded me of the Dylan Thomas prose, 'Rage, rage against the dying of the light.' The reason being a majority of the characters start in their last chapters, but life will give you the next chapter if you're willing to find a reason to fight for it. An excellent film for any age but one to watch with your elders; it may be an inspiration to them.

Enjoyed the watch

An enjoyable watch. Fun performances by Brian Cox and Caroline Sihol. A delightful look at love and it's power over time. Should have ended early... but still worth the watch!

A must watch for the whole family

This is a beautiful and very powerful movie that everyone needs to watch. It shows how Alzheimer's can affect a person and a family at the same time as it talks about a strong love. Please do yourself a favor and watch it!

Beautiful Performances

Loved this film. Bruce Dern and Brian Cox have amazing chemistry, but Caroline Silhol steals the show. Beautiful ending, and personal to any of us who have had loved ones with Alzheimer's.
