In an unscripted turn of events while filming the interrogation scene - Sammy's (played by Eric Orman) tooth was accidentally chipped by a police baton.
The old man (Joel Brody) in the store who barters with Sofia improvised the story about his parents meeting and marrying within 3-weeks. It was based on how his parents actually met.
