Feel Good, heart-felt & beautiful Drama.

First off the story about the Life quest of an innocent divorcee mother from a long marriage in itself is interesting.

To top that screen-writers did a great job in building the characters so well that we get hooked to them from the start. And kudos for maintaining grip on the plot till the end. Not once did it feel frustrating to watch the characters in the sense that the plot gets a twist or turn just when it's about to tip on the getting-boring/frustrating scale.

My only complain is the Lead character's quest for independence is compromised in the end by making her drop outta of school & being satisfied as full-time co-chef when she actually has an interest at arts [dance/choreography,...].

Choi Ji Woo is endearing in a back to school comedy

Choi Ji Woo does a good job of playing the mom and wife going back to school. Not easy to keep the character believable and likable. It is fun to see her change and grow as a person and the relationships with husband and son and classmates change. The deterioration of her relationship with her male chauvinistic husband is well handled and quite involving. The feel good part is how unappreciated wife and mother get her deserved recognition. She had to give up on her dreams. Couple of draggy moments and repetition with her love interest - her classmate who loves her and protects her. Maybe a few episodes too long. OK watch.

    Wonderful and heartfelt

I loved each episode of this series. The journey of ha no ra from being a person who did not do anything for herself, to being an independent happy person is so wonderful! Ha no ra has acted sooo well, you would end up crying for sure. There are a lot of lessons one can take from the series- mine would be that life can take a complete turn at any age, you just have to make the effort. Thanks Netflix for adding this one. Would love ri watch this one again

Lighthearted and basic but entertaining drama

This is the kind of drama that is mostly cliché, repetitive and draggy but still has enough good and interesting things to keep you hooked so you will watch it till the end. Hell, I binged it all in one day.

The story called my attention. A woman had a kid super early in her life, got married with a mediocre guy and that wasn't able to experience anything or live her dreams at all suddenly decided to start doing the things she ever wanted and be happy for herself.

It pains me to think about the vast amount of women in patriarchal societies where women had sacrificed literally everything to take care of the family whilst the husband gets to live and experience all and doesn't have to pause his live whatsoever. Then if they get divorced she is at a complete loss not having anything at all not a career nor money.

This drama depicts this problem very well, and you keep rooting for the FL to be successful and happy once and for all.

The acting is good and I love how the characters evolve and change after the realization of their mistakes and feelings, I particularly enjoyed how much the son on the fl appreciated his mums efforts and was so moved and touched by her love and support. Its a bit eye catching how much older our main lead is, she was actually 38/39 when she recorded this so her age is accurate but because the ML was around 7 years younger it looks a bit cringe when they are supposed to be the same age in the show. But this is my subject view and doesn't affect the show at all.

The worst thing about this drama is basically the script. The drama has just ONE STORYLINE and during the 16 episodes it's just same repetition and same problem over and over. Nothing is resolved because they are dragging it until the very end. So basically the relationship between the mains for most of the drama is based on miss communications and miss understandings CONSTANTLY. There's literally not one conversation between them actually talking and explaining anything ( again this is how the one plot show is)

It would have had loads of potential if they had done subplots and more interesting twists but being a simple, straightforward, basic storyline it's good to watch.
