A great anime comedy can always bring smiles to viewers' faces. The best titles in the genre can deliver satisfying gags and characters that keep people hungry for more. Characters from popular comedies like Kaguya-sama: Love is Warhave become iconic figures in the anime community for years. However, every so often, a great anime series can overwhelm its viewers with its gags.
Comedy series must always walk a fine line between balancing outrageous gags with their more quiet, dramatic moments. A series that leans too heavily into the same comedic gags can risk becoming stale if there isn't anything to break them up. It's fine for comedy anime to lean into being silly, but too much of it can steer fans away from the show. This might even lead to the series declining in popularity and losing its momentum.

New-Gen anime is widely available to stream on platforms like Netflix, Crunchyroll, Hulu, etc. With dozens of titles being released per season, it's hard to keep track of newer series in favor of sequels to popular anime like Dragon Ball, Re: Zero, or My Hero Academia. That shouldn't deter anime fans from seeking lesser-known series though. The inundation of new anime series only means that there's something for everyone to enjoy.
For every hit anime that's watched by millions all around the world, there are plenty that barely get the spotlight they deserve. The series may suffer from poor marketing or viewers misunderstand what it's all about. Regardless, there's a sea of modern hidden gems just waiting to be watched. Anime fans looking to try something new should know that finding a new cult classic is just a click away.

Plenty of anime have a little fan service. Others have way more than a little fan service. And, hey. I get it. Sometimes you’re just not into the fan service offered. Or maybe you're not a fan of the specific fan service that’s on offer. But here’s the thing. Tons of anime have fantastic plots despite the amount or type of lewdness they offer. Some of them have great plots and characters because of it! Seriously! There are tons of anime that offer the best of both “plot” worlds. And who would I be if I let these fantastic anime with gripping storylines and memorable characters fly under an anime fan’s radar? Without further ado, here are 11 anime with fan service that I watch for the plot! 1. Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Souma has been cooking at his father’s side for as long as he can remember.

Anime is an expansive medium of boundless imagination and creativity, often taking full advantage of its animation to produce things that aren't possible in the real world. That being said, that doesn't stop those from trying to bring what's animated into the real world, as there have been many live-action adaptations of anime titles.
While some of these adaptations are reasonable, others have had trouble dipping their toes into the live-action setting for various reasons, making it a sore spot for fans. Whether it's because of their animation styles that define their personalities or out-there subjects and settings, some anime can just never be replicated in live-action without feeling like a downgrade.

Bananya is about as simple a premise as they get, it's about cats that live in banana peels as they go through day-to-day activities while staying out of the sight of humans.
