This is a story about a very brave journalist who always looks for the truth. The main character is a brave, strong and talented person. Showing a certain person, the producer at the same time created an aggregated image reflecting complex character of a modern woman who wants to be a good journalist.
The message is nobody cares about the truth, because it costs too expensive. In my opinion, this movie shows a metaphor of modern mass media. Bosses are always protected and they don't care about photographers or journalists. They can change anyone anytime. They are their bosses, and journalists or other specialists are just expendable to them.
This movie is a combination of very well written script, excellent camera work and beautiful actors. Highly recommended.
This is a well thought out movie. The lead actress is very well cast and took me on a journey. I hate when movies try and run to the end, this was a pleasant change. It is beautifully filmed. More film makers should take an example from this movie when telling there story. Sometimes its the journey not the destination. I enjoyed the twist at the end. GOOD JOB
This movie is pure trash. I watched it for 30 minutes and I have no idea what is going on. I honestly don't know what the movie is about. The reporter has a lead on a story but you don't really know what it is. Characters appear without any pretext as to who they are; I have no idea who they are or what they have to do with the story? It's a confusing mess.
The one positive aspect? The female lead is very nice looking. Very nice.
This is a tightly written and expertly executed suspense from writer/director Seaton Lin. I was thoroughly engaged for its entirety. The female lead, while maybe not likable to some, was a refreshing change for me, because she just is who she is and is doing her job without apology. It had strong performances all around and lovely cinematography. The edits were invisible, not used stylistically, but strongly in service to the story. And the story reins supreme here, it had me at the edge of my seat. Excellent feature debut!
This indie film delivers a a slow burn thriller. There is a palpable tension the builds throughout the film as the story unfolds. It is complemented by a solid cast. The lead gives a stoic performance with a intensity that keep you on the edge of your seat. The score is notable as it intensifies the story. Excellent work by the director and the director of photography. This is a exceptional indie film. I think if they had million in the budget we'd call it a block buster. Two thumbs up.
