Jessica Williams had a hilarious moment with her Shrinking co-star Harrison Ford at the 2025 SAG Awards when he unintentionally stole the spotlight during her speech.
The event, hosted by Kristen Bell and streamed live on Netflix, kicked off with its traditional “I Am an Actor” introduction, where stars share stories about their journeys in Hollywood. Williams started her speech by saying, “Los Angeles is known as the city of dreams, and sure enough, all my dreams have come true here.”
However, just as she continued, Ford was caught on camera casually eating a chip. Realizing he was being filmed, he awkwardly tried to hide it, causing the audience to burst into laughter.
Seeing the moment unfold, Williams turned to Ford and jokingly shouted, “I told him to turn away! Don’t look!” before finishing her speech. She wrapped up with, “But more than just a dream factory, this city has always been my home.

Donald Trump has trained his sights on the closest geographical allies of the United States: Canada and Mexico. The president announced that he will impose 25 percent tariffs on both nations, a bewildering but sadly not surprising decision that is expected to cause the prices of an untold number of goods to skyrocket for American consumers. Trump acknowledged as much on Sunday, posting on Truth Social that could be “Some Pain” but it will be “Worth The Price” because it will usher in “The Golden Age Of America.”

While there have been many great Superman stories throughout the decades, one in particular stands head-and-shoulders above the rest as the best of them all. All-Star Superman is officially twenty years old this year, and Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s masterpiece has stood the test of time as not just the greatest Superman story, but one of the all-time greats in the DC Comics canon.
Launching in November 2005, All-Star Superman #1 by Morrison, Quitely, Jamie Grant, and Phil Balsman was the second in a proposed line of out-of-continuity stories aiming to present superstar creative teams on all-time classic characters. Morrison and Quitely teamed up again following their well-received We3 miniseries, and anticipation was high leading up to All-Star Superman’s release.

Despite the saturation of the hero shooter genre, Marvel Rivals is still going strong with plenty of exciting new characters and events on the way. Improving from the playtest from July, the developers of Marvel Rivals have made significant balance changes and minor tweaks that provide a much more fun-filled gameplay experience. Even with these improvements, Marvel Rivals has a long way to go before it can make a significant mark on the competitive gaming scene.
Balancing concerns are often the biggest source of controversy and updates for competitive games, but regardless of a game's meta scene, most shooters strive to create a consistent experience for all players. If a character's abilities or weapons are too overpowered, it still gives other players a chance to use them for their own benefit, but an unfair advantage can quickly sour the mood of a match. The MCU has created unique superpowers with no comic book precedent for some of its characters. Superhuman abilities and sci-fi technology have evolved a lot throughout the McU's history. Phase 1 launched the MCU with an armored millionaire, a Gamma monster, a Super Soldier, and a Norse god, and Phase 3 ended with Avengers: Endgame's dozens of wildly different characters from all corners of the universe, including sorcerers, witches, aliens, and monsters. Tony Stark's Iron Man armors alone displayed an incredible evolution, from a pile of scraps to state-of-the-art nanotechnology.
The MCU has generally been pretty faithful to the source material when it comes to superpowers. Even difficult abilities to explain on screen, like Scarlet Witch's Chaos magic and Vision's density-shifting powers, or outlandish abilities like Ant-Man's size-shifting suit, have been translated to live-action as realistically as possible. However, Marvel Studios has also taken creative liberties with several characters' abilities,...

Martin Short only got one season as a Saturday Night Live cast member, but he almost didn’t make it that long. He was hired during the show’s “George Steinbrenner Year,” Steinbrenner being the legendary New York Yankees owner who spent big bucks filling out his roster with All-Star players. That was SNL’s strategy to save the floundering show during its 10th year, hiring established comics like Short, Billy Crystal, Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer on one-year deals.
“I was terrified every show because I think I treated it like a special,” Short told Jimmy Fallon this week on The Tonight Show. “In fact, during the fourth show, on the Tuesday, I went in to try to quit.”
Being “Canadian and savvy,” Short visited producer Dick Ebersol to turn in his comedy wigs. (Lorne Michaels wouldn’t return until the following season.) “You know, I haven’t cashed any checks yet,...

While Star-Lord is best known for his portrayal in the MCU, the character has a significantly longer history in the comics. As much as the MCUs Star-Lord dingey red duster and the rarely used mask look fun on screen, the comics have introduced significantly more interesting costumes over the years. For a man who loves his vintage music, Peter Quill knows how to keep his fashion fresh.
Throughout his long tenure as a pirate turned galactic protector, Star-Lord has adopted many looks, each adapting to reflect his place within the galaxy. While he was originally a self-entitled cocky jerk, and still is to a degree, hes long since stepped up and embraced with open arms the variety of life and culture the galaxy has to offer. While his tenure in the MCU may soon be over, his reign, and his many many costumes, in the comics are far from being over.

Chris Pratt's return to the animation genre is proving just as much of a streaming success as theatrical one as The Garfield Movie is already becoming a Netflix hit. The movie serves as a reboot of the franchise based on Jim Davis' beloved comic strip, with Pratt taking over the role from Bill Murray in the live-action/CGI hybrid movies. Following the titular cat as he's reunited with his long-lost father and goes on an adventure with him and Odie, The Garfield Movie was poorly received by critics, but generally embraced by audiences, grossing over $257 million against its $60 million production budget.
Just shy of four months after making its theatrical debut, The Garfield Movie premiered on Netflix as part of the streamer's exclusive rights deal with Sony, and it's already proving to be a hit for both parties. At the time of writing, the movie is maintaining the No.

All Marvel superheroes are celebrities, which can cause distractions and hinder their crime-fighting duties because of their fame. Secret identities are rarer in the Marvel Universe than they are in the DC Universe, leading to widespread recognition and admiration from the public. The lack of anonymity for Marvel heroes can complicate their ability to effectively do their job.
On paper, Daredevil and Star-Lord could not be further apart from each other. One is a deadly serious lawyer turned priest protecting Hell's Kitchen, the other is a snarky, quip-happy Guardian of the Galaxy. Most readers would assume that no two heroes could be any more different than Matt Murdock and Peter Quill are. However, they have at least one trait in common that's shared throughout the Marvel Universe.

It's an uncertain time for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Marvel Studios looking to get back to quality over quantity, we're expecting sweeping changes to be made to the Multiverse Saga slate, with D23 or Comic-Con the most likely destinations for an update.
However, we're not the only ones wondering what's next. Talking to The Playlist, Benedict Cumberbatch was asked what he knows of Doctor Strange 3.

Chris Pratt's Star-Lord could join the Avengers after finishing with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Star-Lord's return was teased in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, opening up possibilities for his MCU future. Pratt's in-demand status, Peter Quill's Earth return, and potential for new adventures make him a strong fit for the Avengers team.
Chris Pratt's Star-Lord would be a perfect member for the Multiverse Saga Avengers now that he is done with the Guardians of the Galaxy, and his Marvel Cinematic Universe future tease could lead to that. Pratt has played Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, in every MCU project for the Guardians of the Galaxy so far. With a decade in the franchise, the character's future might hold a different superhero team for Star-Lord. That is because of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which served as a finale for the original members of the cosmic team.

Superman has always been the most hopeful and powerful hero, whether it is about DC, or Marvel. With the many adaptations of the Kryptonian hero, some get regarded as masterpieces while others die before they can even reach the surface. Adaptations find key elements that please the audiences and the DC Animated Universe is by far excelling the most in that.
All-Star Superman
All-Star Superman is a film that came and went by with powerful performances and a gripping story. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most superheroes are given their own names, but two heroes have chosen their own superhero titles: Star-Lord and Spider-Man. Star-Lord came up with his superhero name as a joke in Guardians of the Galaxy, but it soon became his true identity, with other characters referring to him by that name. Spider-Man chose his own superhero name in Captain America: Civil War, relating it to the origin of his abilities, and he has fully embraced the title since then. He can now operate as Spider-Man with a secret identity and protect the neighborhood anonymously.
Only two characters in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have chosen their own superhero names. Since the inception of the MCU with 2008's Iron Man, Marvel Studios has introduced dozens of superheroes into live-action, adapted from the pages of the Marvel Comics source material. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sets the stage for multiple MCU spinoffs, as the original team disbands and a new, more powerful team is formed. Now that James Gunn is busy with the DC Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will likely serve as his final Marvel movie. However, that doesn’t mean that we won’t see these beloved characters again; In fact, the last thing we saw in the movie’s post-credit scene was a tag reading “The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return.”
During the director’s commentary for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (via The Direct), James Gunn teased a Star-Lord movie that would deal with the hero adapting to his new life back on Earth. “We always want to give somebody a little something special,” Gunn said. “And Chris and I, forever, have talked about how great it would be to be able to do a ‘Legendary Star-Lord’ movie, a story with Star-Lord on Earth trying to adapt to the environment of Earth in the same way that somebody else...

Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) eschews his signature helmet and rocket boots in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 -- and writer-director James Gunn has a very simple explanation as to why.
On Twitter, a fan asked Gunn why exactly the Missouri-born leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy ditched his helmet and rocket boots. "They have jet packs," the filmmaker replied. "The rocket boots comparatively suck. That's like cheap shit you get in the intergalactic version of Radio Shack. And Chris could never have done those amazing hallway moves with a helmet on."

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special has become another one of the MCU’s successes, garnering some of the best critical scores yet. The story is unique for not featuring any central conflict and focusing on the Guardians employing the services of Kevin Bacon to cheer up Star-Lord.
With such a premise, there were bound to be quotes that hit the emotional bone. These words range from Star-Lord’s acceptance of Mantis as his sister to funny lines that reflect Drax’s over-the-top nature. The quotes also offer surprising insight into the characters’ personalities, so it’s worth taking a deeper look at them.

Can you feel that? Yeah, that’s the hierarchy of the DC Extended Universe being upended. At least, according to “Black Adam” star Dwayne Johnson.
This long-in-the-works adaptation of the comic book antihero, who began life as a “Shazam!” spin-off, is finally here, and it’s ushering in (potentially) a new phase of movies based on DC properties. (DC admittedly hasn’t had the easiest go of things.)
In the new movie, Johnson’s character, referred to as Teth-Adam for most of the runtime, is a godlike creature resurrected after 5,000 years of imprisonment in the fictional North African nation of Khandaq. It’s there that he kills many, many people, runs afoul of the Justice Society (led by Aldis Hodge as Hawkman), and gains some of his humanity back after befriending a young widow (Sarah Shahi) and her John Connor-esque son (Bodhi Sabongui).
Together, Teth-Adam, the Justice Society and his...

When Fox Weather’s Nick Kosir first started dancing on social media in 2019, he never dreamed he’d hoof his way onto one of his favorite shows, “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Ahead of his guest segment on Wednesday’s episode, in which he goes toe to toe with Season 16 champ Bailey Muñoz and All-Star Comfort, Kosir chatted with TheWrap about how he got started as a dancer, how he’s used his social media platform to raise money for worthy causes, and his favorite “So You Think Can Dance” winner.
TheWrap: You started dancing because you had to do 12 social posts a day for your job, is that right?
Kosir: Yeah, that was when I was working for the Fox affiliate in Charlotte [North Carolina] in 2019. Our bosses told us that we had to post 12 times on social media per day, and as you can imagine, after about a week,...
