No, Regular Show: The Movie is an original screenplay based upon the Cartoon Network Original series; Regular Show. The movie was written by: Sean Szeles, J. G. Quintel, Calvin Wong, Andres Salaff, Mike Roth, Benton Connor, John Infantino, Owen Dennis and Toby Jones.

It was indeed commercially stated that the movie would be released in November of 2015 but it was meant to be released on Cartoon Network on that particular month. It was then revealed that the movie would be available for a limited time in a week on a specific theater on August 14, 2015. A digital download was released on September 1st and can be purchased for the moment. A DVD edition was released on October 13, 2015.

The movie takes place after the events of the episode "Dumptown USA" and before the events of "The Parkie Awards". To not get confused this movie was produced at the time when the creators of the show worked on Season 6, which led that season to consist only 31 episodes when most seasons of the show would consist up to 40.

Although despite sharing the similar techniques as the one presented in the movie, this Timenado doesn't seem to share any connections to the one from "A Skips in Time". However in the scene where the little Timenado escapes from the guys when trying to stop Ross it could possibly be "that" Timenado that would ultimately appear in the events of "A Skips in Time" after all it can interfere with different timelines.

Why Ross didn't catch that Timenado would be because since he already got his hands with the Timenado that was firstly built. Thus can already use it to control the entire timeline for Earth.
