In the course of the final gun battle, the firearm in play changes from a long gun to a handgun.

When Barry is sneaking into the home, a female deputy is seen going inside, yet when Casey is summoned downstairs a couple minutes later, the deputy doing so is a male.

The amount of video recorded when Ann and Barry are kissing was very short and Mel never zoomed in, yet when Mel shows the video to Pullman a few minutes later, it is now much longer and it zooms in while he was recording.

When Matthews and Casey first arrive at the shipyard, Matthews parks his vehicle close to the water in isolation away from any other vehicle. When Mel later sees the vehicle, it is parked further away from the water right next to his own vehicle.

Police vehicles do not randomly sound sirens when arriving at places such as Ann's home or pulling up to crime scenes.

Barry's card says he works for the Washington County Police, yet the police cars from his agency all say Sheriff's Department on them.

The DEA does not take orders for cases from local police chiefs. They are a federal agency. Likewise, an agent would not have authority to remove a local officer from a case.

For liability purposes, civilians such as Ann and Casey are not allowed to ride in police vehicles and participate in field work as was shown.

When Matthews is driving Casey after they flee the house with no set destination, the road they are driving along has a "no thru road" sign posted, meaning there is no reason for them to be driving down that road.

Mel is taking a video with his phone of Ann and Barry kissing, since that is what he shows Pullman a few minutes later. When he touches the phone it makes the shutter sound of a photo being taken.

A couple of geographical errors take place. First, Barry's card for the Washington County Police Department has 555 prefix phone numbers with a 202 area code. The 202 area code is assigned to Washington, DC, which is a district not a county. The license plate on his car is from Washington State.

Next, when Barry gives Casey GPS coordinates at the warehouse, they are 47.17 and 122.5. These are for a location in mainland China.

Where Matthews parks his vehicle at the shipyard, Casey should have seen Mel entering his trailer, and conversely Mel should have seen Matthews' vehicle before entering the trailer.

Barry tells Casey to wait 20 minutes and call in the location, he gives GPS coordinates instead of just saying Selby Marina. Casey calls the GPS coordinates in by saying 122.51. Barry had told her 122.5.
