On a business trip to Slovenia, Eva meets the poker player Tom. She's in her mid-40s, he's only 23 - that's why the attractive career woman is surprised by his erotic advances. Flattered and attracted by his sex appeal, she embarks on a night out with him. Back in Munich, Eva would like to silently tick off the passionate one-night stand, but to her surprise, Tom suddenly appears in front of her. The affair flares up again and throws her orderly life upside down: she ends a promising liaison with her boss Hajo and gets involved with the young daredevil. More than losing her heart to a professional player, Eva fears making a fool of herself because of the age difference. Even her much younger colleague Dumi already feels too old for the "cutie" Tom. Eva encounters a lack of understanding from her adult daughter Leonie. Even she has to admit that she sometimes finds the thought of a relationship with a much younger man more than uncomfortable. Only Tom doesn't give a damn about conventions or fears: he wants to be with Eva - forever.
