Coco Wins for 3rd Weekend in a Row with $18.3M
Alfonso Arau, Benjamin Bratt, Alanna Ubach, Gael García Bernal, Dyana Ortelli, Herbert Siguenza, and Anthony Gonzalez in Coco (2017)
With just one new movie arriving in theaters this weekend, Broad Green Pictures' Just Getting Started, it was largely expected that two-time winner Coco would bring home the three-peat this weekend, and that's exactly what happened, with Coco easily taking the box office crown once again with $18.3 million, dropping just 33.5% in its third frame in theaters. While there is no conceivable way that the movie will repeat for a fourth weekend, with Disney's Star Wars: The Last Jedi hitting theaters, but it's still been an impressive box office run thus far for Coco.

As of now Coco, which explores the Land of the Dead, has taken in $135.5 million thus far at the domestic box office, and with an additional $254 million from international markets, it has brought the global total up to $389.5 million. No budget figures were given for Coco, but it's a surefire hit with critics, earning an impressive 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Shawn Ashmore and Dianna Agron in Hollow in the Land (2017)
Dianna Agron Is Dark and Gritty Like You've Never Seen Her Before in 'Hollow in the Land' Clip (Exclusive)
Shawn Ashmore and Dianna Agron in Hollow in the Land (2017)
Dianna Agron has come a long way since her days playing a rebellious, acapella-singing cheerleader on Glee. This year alone, she's portrayed a slick hacker in a dystopian not-so-distant future (The Crash), a conflicted nun, Sister Mary Grace (Novitiate), and her role in the upcoming crime thriller, Hollow in the Land, may be her darkest and grittiest yet.

In this exclusive clip, Agron's Alison sets out to uncover the truth when her brother is involved in a brutal murder, but is warned by The Twilight Saga's Rachelle Lefevre not to play amateur detective: "I don't want to see you get into something you can't back away from."

Vertical Entertainment

Hollow in the Land marks the feature directorial debut of Scooter Corkle (who, fun fact, was a grip on Air Buddies -- talk about versatility!), who says of casting Agron, "Dianna has this natural ability to just pop into character. She's got this bubbly, excitable energy always...

Dianna Agron in First Trailer for Mystery Thriller 'Hollow in the Land'
"Do you think he could've done it?" Vertical Entertainment has unveiled the first official trailer for an indie mystery thriller titled Hollow in the Land, the feature directorial debut of Canadian filmmaker Scooter Corkle. Hollow in the Land is a small-town murder mystery thriller starring Dianna Agron as a woman who decides track down her brother to clear his name after being blamed for a crime he didn't commit. There seems to be a few other twists and turns, as expect, in this film described as "Winter's Bone-meets-'Making a Murderer'". The full cast includes Jared Abrahamson, Shawn Ashmore, Rachelle Lefevre, Sarah Dugdale, Jessica McLeod and Michael Rogers. This looks quite solid, perhaps a strong debut for Corkle. It also seems like another chance for Agron to show how talented she is, leading the entire film. Here's the first official trailer for Scooter Corkle's Hollow in the Land,...
