Guilty Tears

The show is poorly executed. It's more about the family members of the serial killers relieving some of their guilt and shame than it is about the families of the victims. Once again it becomes about the killers and very little is said about the victims. Even when they go to meet the victims family members, they end up being consoled and told not to blame themselves. I just think the whole premise of the show is ridiculous.

Why should the families v of the murder be a shamed and guilty they didn't do it.

Ok I understand this for closure for the victims families but why in the hell does the families have to apologize v for their father or husband bag decision making. Like I'm season 2eps1 Drew Peterson his son is raising his step siblings as his own list his own family and here is the addict blaming him for his father actions. Saying he is keeping her nephews from her. Well guess what I would too she is in active addiction you can clearly see it. Those kids have been thru enough never mind your addiction problems. Then to go on saying that he looks like his father so he is going to be the same is crazy. I can't believe she was aloud to say so that. This could of been a better show if the families want so mean verbally to the kids of the dads that did the actual CRIME. NEEDED WORK LIKE II SAID IT WAS CLOSURE.

Show is quite a waste of time

Monster in my family is one of the worst shows I have ever watched, Melissa Moore is just trying to gain popularity off her father's name (who's not even that famous)and recruit others doing the same trying to be relevant off terrible experiences. Just as one off his victims said u make books and excessively bring up stuff actual victims have to relive every day. This show is actually boasting about stuff that should be laid to rest. No one cares about the murderers or their family or that they even had kids........ to be frank, all's that matters is the victims and theirs. All these families and people are hurting, and she wants to chase them down publicity.

Blaming family members

I think this show is kind of cruel. I'm sure there is a ton of guilt and shame when your family member commits a heinous crime (or crimes). The fact that they take a family member of- let's just say a serial killer, who had no knowledge of the other persons crime, and put them in a room for the victim or victim's family member for them to confront is cruel. Both sides are suffering. One side has guilt and shame and the other is looking for someone to blame. I don't see a point to this show and I hate that I can't stop watching it. I'm a sucker for true crime. I feel bad for the children of these awful monsters and it seems unfair to have them meet people who are going to make them feel worse.
