An epic of vast desert expanse of mesmerizing desolation at the margins of the unknown

An excellent movie of deep desert recconaissance into no-mans land, in this movie the desert, (as the movie is called) is a land of contrasts, this ocean of sand makes way for waves of white sand shaped into ever-changing forms by the winds and a sole AFRIKAKORPS soldier who undertakes his destiny.....a single "Hussar of the desert forefield" in his own right and acts..and who himself is at once into a vast expanse of mesmerizing desolation and haunted wilderness at the margins of the unknown...he is himself in the desert surrounded by infinity where he feels like a small speck and where he has this overwhelming sense of his place in the universe ....where he finds the desert is a wilderness without peer, exhibiting a power born of its vastness where he finds union with a divine.....where he finds the desert solitude a wonderful opportunity to meditate and not to be submerged in a mindless sea..and into the unknown....
