Plot Overview:

Oh My Ghost Clients follows No Mu-jin (Jung Kyung-ho), a labor attorney who, after a near-death experience, gains the ability to see ghosts.

The first episode of Jung Kyung-Ho’s Oh My Ghost Clients is finally here, and it’s actually quite fun. The show, which also stars Seol I-Na, tells the story of a dejected man who’s out of a job and has lost all his savings after making a stupid decision, fixing it all when he ends up in a life-and-death situation. I’m not entirely sure, but based on the title, this show might as well be considered a spin-off of the popular show Oh My Ghost. In Oh My Ghost Clients, No Mu-Jin finds himself at his wits’ end when he loses all of his money in crypto and needs a new qualification to get a proper job. Finally, after hearing the advice of some of his colleagues, friends, and acquaintances, No Mu-Jin decides to get a law degree so he’s able to get a job, trusting a close acquaintance.

Park Bo-young is pushing her acting boundaries like never before in Netflix’s upcoming Korean series “Our Unwritten Seoul,” where she takes on the complex challenge of playing twin sisters who swap identities — effectively embodying four distinct personas in what may be her most demanding role to date.

The actor known for her roles in “Strong Girl Bong-soon” and “Oh My Ghost” opens up about the unique challenges of her dual role in the romantic drama, which centers on twin sisters Yu Mi-ji and Yu Mi-rae — identical in appearance but polar opposites in personality. Jo Jung Suk is gearing up for his next pivotal role. The Hospital Playlist star is reportedly in talks to make a cameo in the upcoming season of the hit series Weak Hero Class 1. The new season, which will premiere on Netflix, will feature the actor in an important role. However, the details are yet to be confirmed.

On March 18, Korean media outlet News1 reported that Jo Jung Suk will be making a special appearance in Weak Hero Class 2. Netflix has already confirmed the news, although kept the details of his character under the wraps.

“Jo Jung Suk will be making a special appearance in ‘Weak Hero Class 2.’ Please kindly understand that we cannot reveal details about his role or screen time at this moment. More information will be shared later,” a representative said.

Lighting Up Time

Stuck in a dark and mysterious neighborhood with no memory of how they got there, six strangers will have to piece together their forgotten pasts to escape in “Light Shop,” an eight-part supernatural mystery launching on the Disney+ streaming service from December.

The show is an adaptation of the “Light Shop” webtoon by Kang Full, who is sometimes credited as the father of Korean web comics and was creator of the Disney+ hit show “Moving.” Kang Full penned the adapted screenplay. Kim Hiewon directs the series.

The show features “Blood Free” star Ju Jihoon, “Parasite” star Lee Jungeun, and “Pachinko” star Kim Minha. It also features Park Boyoung, as a nurse whose life was changed forever following a near death experience; and Bae Seongwoo as a detective.

Disney+ has unveiled a slate of Korean originals, as the streaming platform opts for a more targeted strategy in Asia.

Bolstered by successful Korean tentpoles last year like Moving and Big Bet, the streamer has ordered seven new titles to premiere in 2024, in addition to previously-announced shows including Light Shop, from Moving creator Kangfull, and Uncle Samsik, starring Parasite actor Song Kang-ho.

Captivating the King is an upcoming internationally licensed South Korean historical romantic drama series. The series is directed by Jo Nam Gook, who previously directed both seasons of The Good Detective, Untouchable and Fast. Kim Sung Deok is the screenwriter of the series and his first series in five years after previously writing The Crowned Clown.

The unit of director Yuvan’s upcoming horror comedy, ‘Oh My Ghost’, featuring actor Sunny Leone in the lead, on Saturday released the theatrical trailer of the film. The trailer shows Sunny Leone playing a queen called Mayasena. It also shows her to be the ghost.

Q: You are a young entrepreneur, have your own production company and successful too. How has your journey been till now?

Rohandeep Singh (Rs): My journey has been very interesting and also I have struggled a lot. Now it's been years that I have worked in this industry and done many Hindi, Marathia and English movies.
