Whether it makes you say “Oh my God” or “Sounds about right,” the fact is that Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight was released 20 years ago. To celebrate, publisher Little Brown Books will be releasing two collectible editions of the first book and a box set of the series.

As reported by People, the 20th-anniversary release, announced today, will be available on Sept. 30, 20 years to the week of the original book’s publication.

The 2000s were huge for the young adult genre. With fantasy kicking off in the aftermath of The Twilight Saga's success, which adapted Stephenie Meyer's book series, many studios rushed to adapt popular stories.

Seasoned French-Swedish producer Patrick Nebout has inked a co-production pact with German powerhouse Odeon Fiction (Netflix’s “Kitz”) to jointly develop and produce the eight-part English-language dramedy “The Studio.”

The murder mystery and movie industry spoof will be Nebout’s first production for his Stockholm-based Dramanation, a boutique outfit specialised in the creation and packaging of quality European scripted dramas and features with a global appeal.

Under the agreement between Dramanation and Leonine Studios’ banner Odeon Fiction, the German outfit’s exec producer, head of international co-productions Britta Meyermann, will executive-produce and oversee the production alongside Nebout.

Currently in development, “The Studio” is the brainchild of Nebout and his long-time creative partner Henrik Jansson-Schweizer, writer of the duo’s much anticipated satire “Whiskey on the Rocks,” ordered by Swedish pubcaster Svt and Disney +. Rosamund Pike is set to lead Netflix’s upcoming corporate thriller series “Thumblite.”

The “Gone Girl” actress will star in “Thumblite,” which received a straight-to-series order at Netflix, the streamer announced Thursday. Set in Silicon Valley, the series is described as examining “the schemes, rivalries, visions and obsessions of the power brokers and their underlings as they vie for control of the most powerful industry the world has ever known.”

The thriller series hails from Scott Z. Burns, who will serve as creator, writer and showrunner. Burns will executive produce the series alongside Pike, Scott Galloway, Greg Jacobs, Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer, who EPs for Media Res.

The movie follows a mysterious mermaid who has been trapped and forgotten for years in the water tower of a small Southern town. While talking to Cam Gigandet about their insight into the movie, he revealed that he portrays a cop who is a bully toward Billy, who Jack Kilmer portrays.

The film was written and directed by Adam Sigal who has directed directed “Chariot”, starring John Malkovich, Rosa Salazar and Thomas Mann. In 2022, he wrote and directed Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose, starring Simon Pegg, Minnie Driver, Christopher Lloyd and Neil Gaiman.
