Aisa Yeh Jahaan

4/10

Kymsleen Kholie is the one shinging light in this hodgepodge of a movie.

You could make a half-dozen other films with all the different issues this movie presents, failing to satisfactorily address even one of them. The acting is sub-par though the poor directing and amateurish script are at least partially to blame (except for the child actress who is either too young or too untalented to play her role -- blame that on whoever cast her).

The one highlight of this film is Kymsleen Kholie who demonstrates a rare degree of natural talent in this, her debut role. Given the wide critical praise she received I can only guess it is Bollywood's deeply-entrenched nepotism preventing her from becoming the star she so clearly deserves to become lest outshine someone's daughter and become India's next top female actress.

No justice to a nice storyline !!

I have never seen somebody messed up their movie big time despite having such a nice story. There are tons of Indian movies which punch above their weight without any story whatsoever but Aisa Yeh Jahaan just does the opposite with such a nice tale to tell. It would actually be a compliment to call Aisa Yeh Jahaan "amateurish". Yes, the making is that bad.

Other than providing employment for cast and crew, Aisa Yeh Jahaan accomplishes absolutely nothing. But the fact is whoever got whatever money as salary for their work, it's definitely overpaid for sure. Poor work technically, bad screenplay and the worst acting performances of all time by a mile. I don't know what the production team was thinking.

My intention is not to hurt anybody but, Please don't waste your time by watching this. I am just spending this time writing to warn others.
