As revealed during AnimeJapan 2025's Red Stage, Daiki Ihara's Koisuru One Piece (One Piece in Love) manga spinoff series will receive a vertical short anime adaptation every day from Apr. 1 to Apr. 5. The gag series follows high-school students bearing similar names to the Straw Hat Pirates as they run a One Piece fan club. Characters include Luffy Yamamoto (voiced by Ryosuke Kanemoto), Nami Koyama (Ayane Sakura), and Usopp Nakatsugawa (Yuichi Nakamura). In the series, Nami is in love with Luffy. Yuto Tsukuda, the creator of Weekly Shonen Jump's hit culinary comedyFood Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, recently promoted an up-and-coming fellow Shonen Jump IP. The manga in question is Shinobi Undercover, a zany action-comedy revolving around a ninja and a high school girl.

Tsukuda's new recommendation was shared by @WSJmanga, an unofficial Shonen Jump news hub on X (formerly Twitter). Shinobi Undercover, which was created by Ippon Takegushi (story) and Santa Mitarashi (art), revolves around a ninja named Todaka who lives and works in modern-day Japan. One day, he is ordered to protect a cheerful but klutzy high school student named Aoi. In order to be a proper guard, he masquerades as Aoi's fellow classmate. U-Next is a well-known streaming service in Japan, with several of the most popular anime titles of recent years, including Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Solo Leveling and many others. This deal will be a "two-way street," with U-Next taking Max's content and Max taking some of U-Next's content, which THR confirms will include anime.

When compared to other series, like Harry Potter and Black Clover, some may question the origianlity of Wistoria.

Via Anime Corner, Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime producer Katsuki Aoyama and manga editor Shiro Yamano discussed the series from its conception to now -- one of the most acclaimed titles of the current season.
