Alfonso last appeared on the soap in November 2024. Reckell’s last visit was in April 2023.

The name Aristotle Dumas has stirred up plenty of whispers in Genoa City, and now it looks like the elusive billionaire’s reach just got a little more personal. Viewers got their first look at Dumas’s right-hand man, Carter, played by Vincent Stalba, when he appeared in the Wednesday, May 14 episode of The Young and the Restless.

Vincent Stalba Plays Recurring Character

According to Soap Opera Digest, Stalba will appear on a recurring basis, and multiple episodes are already planned.

While Dumas himself remains an off-screen enigma, he’s been a hot topic ever since Victor first dropped his name in February. From Victor and Michael to Billy, Phyllis, Nate, and Devon—nearly everyone seems to have a connection or concern about what the powerful mogul might be plotting. Most recently, Phyllis found incriminating messages between Billy and Dumas, adding even more intrigue to an already tangled web.

Up next from Epic Pictures’ specialty horror label Dread is the Halloween-set slasher movie He Never Left, which is coming to select theaters November 1 & VOD November 5.

He Never Left is the second feature film produced by Witching Season Films. The film was partially funded by enthusiastic fans in a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign and was shot entirely on location in Fairview, Utah and Spanish Fork, Utah.

In the upcoming slasher movie, “After hearing strange noises coming from an adjoining motel room, a federal fugitive and his girlfriend become targets of the notorious “Pale Face” killer, whose legend has haunted the local community for decades.”

Per the official description for the character, who will be a recurring guest star on the upcoming second season of “Young Rock,” Dany is compassionate and caring while also being a disciplined athlete and future CEO. ‘The Matrix’ Actor Collin Chou Joins Netflix’s ‘The Half of It’; ‘Sabrina’s Abigail Cowen Cast In ‘I Still Believe’; Jim Klock Set For ‘The 24th’
Collin Chou
Collin Chou, best known for his role as Seraph from The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, will play Edwin Chiu in the Netflix film, The Half of It, written and directed by Alice Wu. The project, the follow up to Wu’s 2004 film, Saving Face, the pic navigates the struggles of an immigrant family against the backdrop of an Americana teenage angst romantic comedy. The plot is said to be a modern day Cyrano-meets-Pygmalion centered on a shy, introverted, Chinese-American, straight-a student who finds herself helping the school jock woo the girl they both secretly love. In the process, each teaches the other about the nature of love as they find a connection in the most unlikely of places. Chou’s Edwin Chiu is struggling immigrant father of Ellie Chu (Leah Lewis) who was a highly educated engineer whose promising career was derailed by his poor English skills when he moved to America.

46th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards Winners
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the winners of the 46th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The gala was held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Southern California.

“Tonight’s awards ceremony is an example of the extraordinary depth and breadth of Daytime television,” said Terry O’Reilly, Chairman, NATAS. “It is with great pleasure that we honor these talented nominees and a special honor to be recognizing Jacques Pepin’s culinary career with our Lifetime Achievement Award.”

SAG-aftra Reaches Tentative Agreement With TV Networks

SAG-AFTRA, the four major television broadcast networks and other producers have reached a tentative agreement on terms for the National Code of Fair Practice, the union announced on Saturday.

The term of the contract is July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2021.

“This deal delivers overall gains in important areas, including meaningful increases in wages and residuals rates that will put real money in members’ pockets. Additionally, the agreement now reflects important new language limiting auditions or meetings in private hotel rooms and residences, which represents a partial realization of our work toward industry culture change,” said SAG-aftra president Gabrielle Carteris.

Significant gains will be felt across a wide range of categories, including principal performers, background actors, stand-ins, promo announcers, singers and dancers, SAG-aftra National Executive Director David White said.

There are also roles available on Cmt’s hit series “Nashville," as well as an episode of a series about evil women, and a 10-episode YouTube Red sequel to “The Karate Kid!” “The Inspectors”CBS’s “The Inspectors,” a primetime crime drama following Amanda Wainwright (played by Jessica Lundy), “a single-mom Us Postal Inspector who investigates and solves crimes dealing with consumer fraud, the internet, and Us Mail,” is currently casting background roles.
