This was unfinished due to funding problems . It had started filming at Ireland's Ardmore Studios but moved when IRA bomb threats caused the producers to uproot to the UK.
Oliver Reed had the same mustache on Johnny Carson that he did on this film, prompting Shelley Winters to call him "Hitler" which began a famous spat between them on that Carson episode.
Apparently, production shut down after 9 days of filming.
