Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones shares a sweet image of a mini female cast reunion to celebrate Galentine's Day. Airing from 2009 to 2015 on NBC, Parks and Recreation stars Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat who attempts to rally her small town's unmotivated local government to beautify the area's parks. In season 2, the show introduces Galentine's Day, a fictional holiday the day before Valentine's Day, which Knope celebrates each year with her female friends.

In a new post on Instagram, Jones, who played Ann Perkins on Parks and Recreation, shows that the Galentine's Day spirit is still alive and well, even almost eight years after the show came to an end.

Say what you will about Luc Besson, but the guy knows how to craft a kick-ass action heroine. At CineEurope 2015, his production house EuropaCorp unveiled a packed slate of upcoming films, and included in the roster were a pair of sequels to two of Besson’s most successful female-driven action-thrillers: Lucy and Colombiana. That’s right – despite Scarlett Johansson’s psychokinetic badass ascending past human form at the end of Lucy, and Zoe Saldana’s revenge-minded assassin slaying the man responsible for her parents’ murders, both characters are gearing up for more carnage-heavy adventures.
