Quite possibly Taylor Swift's best music video.

Yeah a lot of stars in this. But why are people hating on her bringing her Victoria's Secret friends and other friends into this video. It's just a music video. Not a full movie so it doesn't need a whole storyline. If it fits the song it is fine. Maybe it's not her best song (I'm not a Taylor Swift fan of any sort), but I enjoyed seeing this video.

And I saw someone complaining in their review about Kendrick Lamar in this song. I thought it was quite an good combination. Has nothing to do with class or not. Some people are just anti-hiphop for no good reason at all. Look at Harry Mack for example. Positive guy with class that is great at freestyling. Might be the best of the top freestyler ever!

A cop is shown in a sitting still car for 12 hours. Sitting there eating a bag of potato chips, the cop leans forward slightly to touch the steering wheel with his face. In several buildings away a hand is used to operate a door knob. Most people dont know that we're forced to keep our human bodies alive and reproduce. If you didnt know that, now you do, but it will change nothing. We don't build doors so they'll stay shut. If youre repairing a jeep or opening a fresh loaf of bread you're doing it because you have to. Its all part of lord art.

The star is Taylor Swift and a host of other famous people. That's nice, but then, they appear, in a flash, and then, somebody else, so big deal! Big deal! Look, we're here to see the Taylster, and behold in here just how beautiful the Taylster really is, so, please! keep the other lot, and just give us the Taylster pleez?

Count them, there are seventeen star-billed girls here, a whole lot going on, but a music video is by its very nature too short to accommodate so many characters, so it's really all a waste.

The song itself is also not exactly genius, huh? Should such a classy lady, such an elegant white swan, be associating herself with a rapper? Instant down-class. Imagine a yacht, a grand three masted schooner, sailing in polluted waters. Rappers simply drown out everything else with their staccato rattle, do we, the fans, want this for our heroine?

Not that I could give it the far lower score it deserves after seeing beautiful Taylor in those dramatic facial shots towards the end, with the raging inferno background.

Next time, something simpler, just Taylor. Fancy, yes, but not the whole gang.

This would be far more successful as a longer piece.though they look good, as many posters say the feeling is quite empty. Each of the stars would make an interesting character if developed more.

The fight choreography is executed poorly by the pop star herself and some others. Visually it is quite interesting in the details of the costuming and sets and some of the weapons. The poor execution makes the poorly blocked and obvious stunt doubles even more obvious.

With some improvements this could be an interesting longer film as we dig deeper into the individual training and then incorporate those scenes of growth into successful combat against less faceless enemies or former friends from say earlier in the film. The key would be the writing of compelling characters to highlight the growth of the main character.

But that will never happen.
