Deepti Sati in Nee-Na (2015)

Love and expressions

The movie started with cliche scenes of stereo typed drunkard girl. And it captured the flip side of an alcoholism on expressions. Still the character and deep relations are same. Sometimes I felt like I will not watch the movie in full. but when you finished it, you will feel something.

It's different !!!

Is a 'wacky','crazy' and a real 'bold' movie:) It's a movie that easily fits into 'new-gen movie fable' and deserves a one-time watch for the true and vulnerable characters on display and the way the story has been presented by Lal Jose. Though the dubbing of Deepthi Sati doesn't sound the best and her acting looks like going overboard at times, you rarely get irritated in the first half when her character drives the show and is sure to end up enjoy the 'weird on-goings' on show :) The film loses a bit of steam in the second half and is a tad slow and lagging. But the 'reasonably good' ending helps the movie from not ending up as a disappointing watch:) Vijay Babu is definitely the star of the show and is supported well by the set of performers around him :) Watch it to understand that this is a movie which is not likely to be lapped up by all :)

This movie is sort of a dare - Can you make a movie more horrible than this?

I accidentally went for this movie with family as we just wanted to go out and see 'something' on a Friday evening. I have just returned and boy am I regretting that decision.

The premise of the Movie: A 20 something selfish (neurotic, narcissistic, psychotic, etc, etc, etc - a very very very mentally troubled), alcoholic girl falling in love with a 40 something married man (her boss). No...... now don't you start feeling bad for her. It is not that kind of a girl who actually has a heart of gold (Maybe that was what the director/writer had intended, but what came out was a truly horrible person that we never want to meet).

What we have here is just plain terrible acting by the entire cast (Its so artificial its as if it was done by some school kids). The girl has no morals and she is so manipulative and callous that she is almost like a psychopath. Add to that there was not a single scene that was good in this movie. There was no one in this movie that you could empathize with, feel sad for, feel good for. Nothing.........

The story - Mind numbingly "Annoying"................

I felt this was the worst movie that I had seen in my entire life.

So all that I want to say is - Please, please don't waste your precious precious time.

I had so much loved all the movies that I had watched in the 80s and 90s. Its as if the current breed of directors/writers are so desperately trying to be modern (the current western idea of showing flawed characters as hip). They are acting like a teenager who has no real intelligence so he tries to be cool by doing some 'cool stuff'. Why oh why have they forgotten the way they made those beautiful movies of the past.......

Cheers!!
