Lesser Star Trek Original Series-type Web Series

Very low budget web series that attempts to be like classic Star Trek.

Firstly, I am sure the men and women behind this fan-production are all wonderful, intelligent people - but I am here to do an honest review!

Before Farragut appeared we got another much better Star Trek web series called Starship Exeter (2002). And later we got another gem titled Star Trek Continues (2013). These two productions proved that Trek web shows can be more than just adults doing High School plays!

With Farragut (even the title sounds a bit off), they went all out with the sets and scripts but obviously could not find any experienced actors - and this stands out a mile away!

Granted, this fan production has some very positive Youtube comments but I question if the writers of the comments are in fact connected to the show?

To all fan-film makers, please don't make this stuff if you have no experienced or semi-experienced cast. To me atleast, Farragut is a bomb.
