It is the fourth time, Tara Sutaria worked in a Disney India sitcom (all adapted from Disney's original sitcoms) after main role in "The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir" and episodic appearances in "Best of Luck Nikki" and "Shake it Up". Thus, "Palak Pe Jhalak" is the only Disney adapted sitcom, in which she didn't appear.
In some episodes, Tara Sutaria makes some references like appearing on a Karan Johar film or on his television show. Fast forward to 2019, she would appear on his show, Koffee with Karan and also later go on to star in her debut film "Student of the Year 2 (SOTY 2)" which Johar produced.

Kenneth Desai has previously appeared in Disney India's "Vicky Aur Vetaal" (2006) and "Shake it Up (2013), where he played the recurring character of Principal and Vice Principal respectively.
Both Kenneth Desai and Ahsaas Channa have appeared in the 2009 Bollywood horror film "Phoonk".
