Pittige pepernoten (1997)

Trivia

Pittige pepernoten

Edit
The birthday of Chefpiet, December 4th, is the same date in 1951 on which Saint Nicolas and Black Piet make their first appearance on Dutch television.
It is standard for a Black Pete to wear earrings. Michiel Kerbosch wears no earrings in this series while Don van Dijke does, Don is even the only Pete to carry a rod in this series (which is also standard).
In the year 2021 the series was published in a 2-DVD-boxset which was released by the same distributor that owns the YouTube channel 'Sinterklaas TV-Nostalgie'.
In 1997 there were multiple programs aired under the title "Pittige Pepernoten", including a program that looked back at previous 'Telekids' specials that starred Sinterklaas and the Black Pieten. The title "Pittige Pepernoten" originates from the daily drama series that stars actor Don van Dijke as the character Chefpiet and actor Michiel Kerbosch as the character Wegwijspiet.
First daily Dutch drama series about Black Piet.
