MollywoodAs he makes his Bollywood debut, Nivin says that actors should push themselves by crossing boundaries.Digital NativeMalayalam star Nivin Pauly is keen on expanding his boundaries by signing up films in other languages as well. After carving a niche for himself in Kollywood with movies like Richie and Neram, he is all set for his Bollywood debut. The Malayalam film Moothon, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is getting dubbed in Hindi as well. In an interview to the Ians, he told, “The language part is always challenging. For a Malayali actor, it won't be that comfortable to do a film in Tamil, Telugu or Hindi. I believe we should push ourselves by crossing boundaries. I think every actor should attempt that in their career. There is one blessed career that God gave us and we shouldn't be sitting in one place and getting comfortable. There is no harm in trying something new.

Biju Menon to team up with 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie' director
Mollywood The film will be penned by the National Award winning writer Sajeev Pazhavoor. Digital NativeBiju Menon has inked the deal to star in the Oru Vadakkan Selfie fame director Prajith’s upcoming film. The film will be penned by the National Award winning writer Sajeev Pazhavoor and its title is yet to be revealed. Biju Menon is currently busy with Padayottam in which he plays the role Chengal Raghu. Directed by Rafeek Ibrahim, the film will have Biju Menon will sport a look that fans have not seen him in before. According to sources, it is a film that will spell out incidents that happen on a road trip between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasargod. The shooting of Padayottam is on and its release date is expected to be announced soon. The actor made his debut with the 1991 release Eagle, in which he appeared in a small role and then worked his way up the career ladder by bagging main roles. Some of the memorable roles that Biju Menon had played till date are in movies such as Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, Anarkali, Vellimoonga, Ordinary, Run Baby Run, Romans, Marykkundoru Kunjaadu, etc. Apart from acting in Malayalam films, he has also acted in quite a few Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. Biju Menon has won several awards in his long career including two Kerala State Film Awards, Kerala Film Critics Awards, Asianet Film Awards, Filmfare Awards South, Vanitha Film Awards, Asiavision Awards, North American Film Awards (Nafa) and Asianet Comedy Awards. The actor began this year at the box office with the Vinu Joseph directorial Rosapoo, which hit the silver screens on February 9th. Director G Prajth, on the other hand, made his debut with the hit movie Oru Vadakkan Selfie and had directed by the Telugu film Meda Meeda Abbayi. He has been signed up to play the lead role in Aana Alaralodaralal and the filming process has begun already. Vineeth Sreenivasan made his acting debut with the 2008 release Cycle and has acted in a number of films such as Om Shanti Oshana, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, and Jacobinte Swargarajyam.

Manjima Mohan to play lead role in Malayalam remake of 'Queen'?
Manjima Mohan, who made her acting debut with the Nivin Pauly starrer Oru Vadakkan Selfie, is believed to have signed the Malayalam remake of Kangana Ranaut's Queen, which is also being made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

It's after months of desperate search for a heroine to fill in the shoes of Kangana, the makers have zeroed in on Manjima. However, an official announcement regarding this is awaited.

The project is slated to go on the floors later this year.
