There are plenty of similar true crime documentary series for fans to watch after Get Gotti, most of them also on Netflix. Not every true crime documentary series to watch after Get Gotti involves the American mafia, but The Making of the Mob and Gotti: Godfather and Son are particularly fitting to watch next. Another example of what to watch after Get Gotti is The Devil Next Door, a harrowing documentary that follows the trials and court appearances of a former Nazi concentration camp guard, shedding light on an important and difficult story that needs to be heard.
For audiences who were enraptured by Netflix's Get Gotti, there are numerous other true crime documentary series like that one to enjoy next. Get Gotti depicts the FBI's attempts to bring down the infamous mafia boss John Gotti. The documentary covers the subject rather exhaustively, so for those looking for further viewing,...

Steve Allen, the co-creator and first host of The Tonight Show, largely was responsible for late-night television as we know it.
Remember Johnny Carson’s Carnac the Magnificent? Well, take a look at Allen’s The Question Man (below).
“Steve Allen was the generator of a lot of ideas that were ahead of its time,” says Billy Crystal in CNN’s documentary series The Story of Late Night.
The six-part series is a historical deep dive into the origins of the genre that still resonates today as well as a love letter to the medium. It has been overseen by Bill Carter, a man who knows a thing or two about late-night, as the former New York Times media correspondent and author of The War for Late Night and The Late Shift.

Frank Cullotta, a veteran mobster who later became a Las Vegas attraction for his in-depth knowledge of organized crime’s history in Sin City, has died. He was 81 and passed from complications caused by Covid-19.
Cullotta was the right-hand man to Anthony “The Ant” Spilotro, portrayed by Joe Pesci in the film Casino. Another of their childhood friends, Frank ‘Lefty’ Rosenthal, was the inspiration for Robert De Niro’s Ace Rothstein in the film.
Cullotta arrived in Las Vegas from his Chicago hometown in the 1970s and formed a burglary group known as the Hole in the Wall gang. The name derived for their propensity to bust through buildings to avoid door and window alarms. Cullotta ran the operation and paid cuts to Spilotro, and also performed other tasks, including murders, at his childhood friend’s request.

The history and aftermath of the Jonestown commune is still difficult to comprehend, whether you’re talking about it or trying to show the kind of devotion that would drive so many followers to lose their lives. Yet the new docuseries “Jonestown: Terror in the Jungle” will look to dissect as much of the tragic saga as possible in four parts, airing next month on SundanceTV.
The series follows eventual Jonestown leader Jim Jones from his origins as a civil rights-oriented preacher to the creation of Peoples Temple and through the group’s move to Guyana. It was there that over 900 of Jones’ followers died. Through archival footage and recently declassified federal intel, “Jonestown: Terror in the Jungle” outlines the deaths that happened both voluntarily and by force.

However, Banijay, which has 61 production labels in 16 countries, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month and, as such, CEO Marco Bassetti is doing the rounds to blow out as many candles as possible.

AMC could be taking a trip to Christmasland in the future. Back in December of 2015, it was revealed that the network was considering developing a TV series based on Joe Hill's supernatural novel NOS4A2, and today AMC announced that it has opened a writers' room for NOS4A2 and two other projects.
Led by Jami O'Brien (Hell on Wheels), who, along with Joe Hill, will serve as an executive producer on the series should it move forward, NOS4A2 is now being developed in the aforementioned writers' room.
O'Brien and her team will work together to write scripts for multiple episodes and a framework for the first season, and if AMC likes the concept and story that O'Brien and company come up with, NOS4A2 could be ordered to series.
