This article contains spoilers for Severance Season 2, now streaming on Apple TV+.
Severanceis already a huge hit for Apple TV+. The sci-fi thriller series starring Adam Scott just wrapped its second season, and Apple has been on a marketing tear since then. The latest effort by the tech company to promote Severance, is a new listing on its Apple Store website for a Lumon Terminal Pro computer, just like the severed workers in Lumon’s macrodata refinement department used.
However, apparently, the “numbers were (too) scary” to put a price on the piece of Lumon tech, because although the Lumon Terminal Pro is listed on its store site, it’s not actually available for purchase by fans.

Just taking Tom Hanks’ name feels like you’re talking about an old friend. He’s the quintessential nice guy, a Hollywood heavyweight. Everyone loves a classic like Forrest Gump or Saving Private Ryan, but there’s a treasure chest of gems in his filmography that don’t get nearly enough love.

This list won’t be about the obvious heavy hitters. Instead, we’re taking a closer look at the movies that flew under the radar or have faded into the background over the years.

After making a Barbillion dollars at the box office with last year’s blockbuster Barbie, star Margot Robbie is reportedly celebrating the birth of her son this year. The actress gave birth to her son earlier this month, though they have not made a public announcement yet. The actress shares the child with her husband Tom Ackerley.
Ackerley and Robbie got married in 2016 and reportedly desired to have a child. But they waited a long time because they apparently wanted to accomplish a few things in their career before embarking on parenthood. The couple are also creative partners, co-founding the production company LuckyChap Entertainment.

Few titles have reached the popularity of Harry Potter. Most of the child actors were unknown when the first film premiered but everyone knew their names by the time the franchise ended in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
While attending the Rhode Island Comic Con on Nov. 3, Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in all eight films, discussed his character but also how he handled his fame after the film series ended (via The Mirror). The film series adapted J.K. Rowling's seven novels into two films, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint in the leading roles, alongside a series of British A-listers. Since then, most of the child actors have tried to make their mark outside their Harry Potter characters, and Lewis discussed how excited he was to do something new, and how they avoided "the pitfalls of being a child actor.

It was Martin Scorsese’s iconic The Wolf of Wall Street that gave Margot Robbie the recognition she deserved, and since then, the Australian actress has only been attracting major roles. Little did she know that starting a life in Hollywood would lead her to settle down and start a family as well.
In 2013, while the Birds of Prey actress basked in success following her big break, it was also the same year she met her eventual husband, Tom Ackerley, on the set of Suite Française, a World War II drama. Their lives would change forever a year later.

Exclusive: Guy Ritchie’s Young Sherlock series has cast the title character’s older brother. Max Irons (Condor) is set as a series regular on the Prime Video show, playing Mycroft Holmes opposite Hero Fiennes Tiffin’s Sherlock. Speculation about Irons’ casting started last month when he was snapped on the set of the series; his character had not been revealed until now.
Inspired by Andy Lane’s book series, Young Sherlock is described as an irreverent, action-packed origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved detective in a re-imagining of this iconic character. At age 19, Sherlock Holmes (Fiennes Tiffin) is disgraced, raw, unfiltered, and unformed, when he finds himself caught up in a murder mystery at Oxford University which threatens his freedom. Cannes — For years, reports of MipTV’s terminal decline were somewhat exaggerated. Now, however, they’re real. On March 26, Rx France, organizers of MipTV, announced the launch of Mip London, over Feb. 23-28, 2025. MipTV’s 2024 edition will be its last.
Attendance, once 10,000 in 2018, 9,500 in 2019, had plunged to 5,510 on-site delegates last year. That still made it the second biggest TV event in the world. Still dwindling participation this year, is down to around 3,000.
What a MipTV swan song, bulwarked by Canneseries, can deliver, is another question. 10 takes on this year’s edition:
MipTV Sticking to Its Guns
Traditionally, MipTV delivered a straight sales market where sales companies or divisions hold back-to-back meetings with distributors who get links to their shows. History has hardly been on MipTV’s side. As simply raising the finance for a show in an environment of rising costs and declining commissions has become more and more of a challenge,...

Darkest Hour have announced their 10th studio album, Perpetual | Terminal, arriving February 23rd via Mnrk Heavy. The video for the title track can be streamed now.
The song serves as the album opener and melds melodic guitar leads with crushing technical metalcore. According to the band, it’s the sound of “a whole Darkest Hour album in one song.”
“It felt like the perfect album opener,” the group stated via a press release, “eventually became the title track, and therefore is the perfect place to start as we present this new album to the world.”
Perpetual | Terminal is Darkest Hour’s first record in nearly seven years and “centers around the duality of ‘survival while embracing rebirth,'” in the words of guitarist Mike Schleibaum.
“We keep killing parts of ourselves to make new parts and survive,” he elaborated. “The story of the record is the story of the band.

With the return of all-time classic maps like Rust, Terminal, and Skidrow, SMGs are once again at the forefront of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's meta. Even better, with the addition of six new SMGs and 12 returning from MW2, there is plenty of variety among submachine guns. However, if you want to keep up with the competition, then you will need to favor the best SMGs in Modern Warfare 3.
Aside from SMGs, a few assault rifles, battle rifles, and snipers are making a name for themselves as the best weapons in Modern Warfare 3. Nonetheless, when it comes to multiplayer maps like Shoot House and game modes like Zombies, these SMGs are the answer to your problems.

November 1st is a tough day for horror hounds. The decorations are still up, the air remains crisp, but the spirit has seemingly moved on, perhaps vanquished by the sun. Tom Ackerley has a knack for producing projects with dynamic and strong female characters, often working with his wife Margot Robbie, resulting in critical and financial successes. While some projects like Terminal and Dreamland fell short in terms of script and cinematic quality, others like Promising Young Woman and I, Tonya received critical acclaim and award nominations. Ackerley's latest project, Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig, became a cultural phenomenon and broke box office records, delivering an entertaining film with a powerful message about sexism and the patriarchy.

Simon Pegg played the role of Scotty in the Kelvin timeline Star Trek films and has not been replaced since his last appearance in Star Trek Beyond. Since Star Trek Beyond, Simon Pegg has had a successful acting career with notable roles in Mission: Impossible movies, Ready Player One, and various TV shows. While Scotty has not technically appeared in modern Star Trek, his voice can be heard in the season one finale of Strange New Worlds, leaving open the possibility for future appearances.
English actor Simon Pegg has had several big roles since his time he last played Chief Engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in Star Trek Beyond. In the first of J.J. Margot Robbie's career skyrocketed in a short amount of time, landing prestigious roles and earning two Oscar nominations. While she has delivered standout performances in movies like Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey, not all of her films have been equally successful. The second Rebuild of Evangelion movie ended with a tease for the next film, but that movie wouldn't be out for five years, leaving fans with a mysterious image of Asuka wearing an eyepatch that led to a lot of jokes. While Asuka does have an eyepatch in the third film, it's kind of glossed over, leaving many fans of the original series to wonder how exactly she got it.
Among the many changes for Rebuild of Evangelion, one of them was eliminating Toji Suzuhara, Shinji's friend from school, as a potential Eva pilot. However, the events related to Unit 03 and the Angel still occur--this time, however, it's Asuka in Unit 03's pilot seat. Unit 03 is contaminated by a blue goo, which turns out to be the Ninth Angel. Simon Pegg is best known for his starring roles in the spoof films of the Three Flavors Cornetto Trilogy, but the actor has appeared in plenty of other great movies (and some not-so-great ones). Pegg first rose to prominence as the co-creator and star of the Channel 4 sitcom Spaced. He reunited with director Edgar Wright, co-star Nick Frost, and a handful of other cast members from Spaced for the Cornetto movies that launched him to stardom: zombie-infested romcom Shaun of the Dead, “buddy cop” slasher Hot Fuzz, and body-snatching sci-fi adventure The World’s End.
Since the Cornetto movies made Pegg a recognizable star, he’s acted in such lucrative blockbuster franchises as Ice Age, Star Trek, and Mission: Impossible. Microsoft has confirmed that using System Restore on Windows 11 could break some critical apps, including Microsoft Office. System Restore is an important recovery tool that allows Windows users to revert their computer to an earlier state if a critical error renders the system unusable. Once the feature is enabled, the system automatically creates restore points when it detects major changes like driver installations, Windows updates, app installations, or significant modifications to the core system settings. Users can also manually create system restore points in Windows.

After years of false starts, The Crow is finally coming back to life with a brand new movie from director Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghost in the Shell), with Bill Skarsgård (It) leading the cast as Eric Draven and singer/actor FKA Twigs co-starring. THR updates on the project tonight, reporting that Danny Huston (30 Days of Night) has signed on.
“Details of Huston’s character were not revealed,” THR notes.
The Crow reimagining is finally happening for real this time, as The Hollywood Reporter also notes that the film is “now weeks-deep in production in the Czech Republic.”
Zach Baylin (King Richard) is writing the script, with the new movie of course based on James O’Barr’s original graphic novel that spawned a previous feature film franchise.
Producers on this fresh new reimagining include Molly Hassell, Victor Hadida (Resident Evil and Silent Hill franchises), John Jencks,...

"Who's responsible for fixing it? Who's responsible for paying for it?" A new official trailer is available for a documentary film called End of the Line, which first premiered last year at the Doc NYC Film Festival. It's finally out on VOD this June. If you live in New York City, you already know how awful the subway has become. If you don't live there, you've probably heard everyone else who does live there complaining about it. End of the Line is a character-driven political drama about the NYC subway crisis and a reckoning on its infrastructure. "Filmed from 2016 to 2021, this story is emblematic of tumultuous times felt across urban America, as the struggle to overcome decay gives way to existential peril in the 11th hour with the advent of a global pandemic." It features current NYC Mayor Eric Adams, actress / former NY gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso,...

From Warren Zevon and David Bowie to Gregg Allman and Pop Smoke and Mac Miller, posthumous albums recorded during an artist’s final months have become a sadly inevitable part of the pop landscape. That’s also the case with Things Happen That Way, the album Dr. John was working on when he died of a heart attack in June 2019.
