the only reason i gave this a 1 is due to the fact you cant choose 0. the film it self looks as though it was shot with a VHS camera, the acting was not convincing at all...looked more like a bunch of kids role playing at recess. slow, predictable, unoriginal..a completely, for lack of a better word, stupid antagonist, the boys in this film are by no means ugly, but the film tries to hard to be "hip" and wardrobe made very bad choices with all of them! man buns, top knots and shaved side for everyone...complete tripe. how the hell this is sitting at 6.4 or whatever is beyond me, and i do, for the most part, like a good B horror movie...this isn't it... avoid this turkey at all costs...don't believe the ratings, don't believe anyone that tells you it's good, cuz it ain't, and you don't need those types of friends!
I could even get past the amateurish filming of the thing, and it goes along for awhile where if you get past that its not too bad, but still nothing is happening.
Then when things actually start to happen the whole thing goes completely off the rails. Amateurish 'fight' scenes, bad editing, ridiculous jumps in logic to just plain no rationale at all...
As is my custom its not a 1 if I make it through... but I wish I'd moved on once it started to get bad.

This was extremely horrible. The acting was horrible. The plot was horrible and I can't believe I sat through this. I ended the pain with 10 minutes left and I'll never think about this movie again. Holy crap, if anyone gives this movie more than a 2.....and that's being super generous and they are completely lying to you. I watch well over 500 movies per year (all genres) and rate them in IMDB for my own purposes..........basically so I can remember what I watch and didn't. I have never once left a review but this movie made me have to warn others not to waste your time. Go for a run, watch the news (ugh), punch yourself in the face.....I don't care but don't watch this trash.
Stumbled upon this on Amazon and thought it was a fun, campy movie. Both female leads - especially the one who played the daughter - did a good job. The five sons were all cool, though the oldest looked a littttle old for being in high school. I couldn't decide if the non-twin blonde brother was a cutie or a creepy - actually he probably played the roll perfectly.
What I also liked is that I could watch this with my teenager without worrying about covering her eyes (or her trying to cover my eyes). Is this Citizen Kane? No. Is this a fun, scary movie for this time of the year (October)? Sure!

I just gave Pet a 6; it was a great movie- an easy 8- well made production, brilliantly acted, filmed etc. Progressive plot line and script but a last "scene" that was sooo predicable for a thriller and out of context with the plot, that it gets the same rating as this, 6. In Honeybee, 90% of the acting sucked, nearly 1/2 the scenes were poorly lit or over lit, obviously not enough of a budget to refilm slightly flubbed scenes. But altogether I found it cohesive and entertaining. It too had the predictable last scene for a B thriller, but it fit perfectly. So enjoy this 6! PS, the starring characters pulled off there parts well.
