Still on reruns

One of the best Greek series. The acting, the lines, the characters. Everything is at it should be. The story is about two families with different backgrounds and how they see life. The Trianfafylou family lives in a rich area and their son is married to the daughter of the family who lives in a more peoples area of Athens. This marriage, between Lydia and Savvas is the connection between the two families. Every episode focuses on one of them and sometimes they are both involved.

The characters are getting better in every episode mainly focused on the social differences, influences and way of life.

It's still on reruns and the numbers are still high.

The best greek series

A very good and very funny show with smart lines and dialogues. Some episodes have really good lessons. Appropriate for all. As a teenager, i find myself learning from this, some episodes are really educational, as It touches many social issues. Many greek families can relate. Even though the tv show is not an original concept, the writers have made it look unique. Brings out a lot of different emotions besides laughing. I watch it all the time and I enjoy it!

I would recommend it to all, young or adults, who want to watch something light with not heavy drama and want to laugh. I wish it did not finish!!!!

the best greek comedy of all time

This series is the best I've seen. Very well shot with a perfect script. I believe that if this series is translated into English, it will be a hit. You completely identify with the Greek family, including the comedy. All the lines are perfectly apt.

Motivated by this series, cinemas can create memorable movies and series. This series should be world famous in my opinion. It's simply a gem of Greek television, the series is perfect and no one can dispute it, if you want to watch a restful, light and happy series, I strongly recommend to soi sou. The wedding of Lydia and Savva is the connection for the two families. Lydia's family where it is traditional and classic and with Savva's family where it is aristocratic and artistic. This series shows the custom of Sunday dining.

One of the best modern Greek series right now.

In my opinion To soi sou is one of the best modern day Greek TV shows as it has great acting and does a great job at being a comedy show which can also have some serious moments. None of the seasons seem like they were rushed or they lacked in good script writing and i definitely think that as the seasons go by it gets better. I definitely recommend if you can speak Greek.

Big disgrace

It definitely does not deserve your time. In every single episode there is a misandurstaning and that is a really bad thing. The plot is so bad. The only thing that this awful TV show has is acting. Melletis Illias,Vaso Laskaraki,... played their roles respectfully. I am from Greece and my country has not produced and the best of movies and also TV shows the last years and this TV show is definitely not an exception. A lot of people in Greece like this TV show which is a thing that I personally do not understand but it's their opinion just like my opinion is that it ain't good. You can watch it and create your own opinion but I don't recommend it.
