The Space Between (2016) is an Australian-Italian drama film directed by Ruth Borgobello in her feature directorial debut, and written by Borgobello and Mario Mucciarelli. It stars Flavio Parenti, Maeve Dermody and Elettra Dallimore Mallaby. It was selected as the Australian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
