The much-anticipated Terrifier 3 had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest today, and during a Q&a following the movie, director Damien Leone was asked what’s next for the franchise. “I love that you’re still thinking about the next one after [watching all] that,” Leone said. “So — yes, there will be a Terrifier 4.“
Leone wouldn’t spill any details on what’s to come in Terrifier 4, but it’s a good bet that audiences will be in store for more over-the-top gruesome kills. As for Terrifier 3, the sequel takes place five years after the events of the last movie during the Christmas season. Many classic Christmas horror movies serve as inspiration, including Tales from the Crypt installment All Through the House and Black Christmas. “That’s one of my favorite subgenres of horror — Christmas horror,” Leone said. “I just love that tone. It’s the perfect marriage of horror and Christmas.

Almost every television series gets in on the holiday spirit and sometimes that Christmas celebration arrives in the form of horror. Luckily, there’s no shortage of stellar horror TV episodes that deliver killer Santas, folkloric monsters of Yule, holiday ghosts, and more.
The 12 Days of Creepmas continues on Bloody Disgusting, this time with 11 holiday horror episodes of television that aren’t afraid to deck the halls with blood.
Keep track of the 12 Days of Creepmas here.
NOS4A2 – “The Shorter Way”
Technically, the entire series qualifies here regarding holiday horror fare, but the premiere episode sets the eerie Christmas tone in this adaptation of Joe Hill’s novel. Ashleigh Cummings (Hounds of Love) stars as Vic McQueen, a high schooler with dreams of attending art school and leaving her town of Haverhill. Netflix has come up with some very original content in the past few years, but nothing can quite compare to the best Love, Death and Robots episodes. The anthology series produced by David Fincher is a collection of animated shorts that span multiple genres and styles of animation, and audiences never quite know what to expect when it's time to tune in for a new episode. Ranging from comedy to science-fiction, fantasy, horror, and drama, there is something for everyone in Love, Death & Robots. The versatility of the show grants it an extremely broad audience that has fans eagerly awaiting each new season.
What is most impressive about the best Love, Death and Robots episodes is the talent involved. Many of the episodes are based on stories by some of the best science fiction, fantasy, and explorative fiction authors. Names include John Scalzi, Peter F. Hamilton, Alastair Reynolds, and horror author Joe Lansdale.

You'd think Halloween would be the holiday that the lion's share of holiday-themed horror movies would center around. But that would have to be Christmas, which has inspired the likes of classics such as "Black Christmas," "Silent Night, Deadly Night," "Gremlins," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," the incredible "Tales From The Crypt" segment "And All Through The House," and so many more.
Maybe it's because Christmas is supposed to represent the pinnacle of goodness and charity that mucking it all up with blood, guts, and terror is just too perverse to resist. But of all the other holidays on the calendar, Thanksgiving gets my vote for the most untapped potential, horror-wise. Pilgrims? Unseasoned food? Family coming to my house? Wake me up when the nightmare is over.
While there has been a solid assortment of Thanksgiving-themed shockers over the years, from "Kristy" to "Séance" to the delightfully campy "Into The Dark" film "Pilgrim,...

In the latest episode of missed opportunities, the recently released second season of Netflix's animated anthology series Love, Death & Robots very nearly featured a Conan The Barbarian short starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Series creator and Deadpool director Tim Miller has now revealed that Schwarzenegger had repeatedly contacted him, lobbying for a role in the series, with Miller even offering details of what the episode would have entailed.
"It would have been a Conan short. I did want to do a Conan short, but we couldn't get permission. [It would have been based on] Red Nails. It involved Valeria, the pirate queen... a lost city, it was f--ked up. There were dinosaurs in it, too. We just couldn't get permission."
Sadly, things did not come together for the Conan- centric episode of Love, Death & Robots robbing us all of what sounds like the greatest viewing experience of our lives. Miller and Supervising Director Jennifer Yuh...

Originally released in 2018, as far as I know All The Creatures Were Stirring is the second ever Christmas horror anthology movie, with the first being the highly entertaining A Christmas Horror Story.
This one has five segments and one encompassing segment which begins and ends the film as well as linking each other segment. In this we see a man and woman who are kind of on a date at a local theatre. They meet outside and once inside are introduced to a couple of strange characters until they are eventually seated to watch the show. The first part of the show then leads into the opening segment The Stockings Are Hung.

I’m guessing that you, just like most of us, have always had seasonal favorites when it comes to movies that attempt to address and evoke the spirit of Christmas. Like most from my generation, when I was a kid I learned the pleasures of perennial anticipation of Christmastime as interpreted by TV through a series of holiday specials, like How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and even musical variety hours where the likes of Bing Crosby and Andy Williams and Dean Martin et al would sit around sets elaborately designed to represent the ideal Christmas-decorated living room, drinking “wassail” (I’m sure that’s what was in those cups) and crooning classics of the season alongside a dazzling array of guests. (We knew we were moving into a new world of holiday cheer when David Bowie joined Bing Crosby for...

Happy October, everyone! As expected, our favorite month is kicking off with a ton of horror and sci-fi home releases – 25 to be precise – and there’s a great selection of new and old titles coming our way on October 4th. As far as recent movies, The Purge: Election Year, The Mind’s Eye, Swiss Army Man and Fender Bender all arrive on both Blu and DVD this week, as well as the stunning South Korean horror film The Wailing. Several great cult classics are getting the HD treatment on Tuesday, including Terence Fisher’s The Earth Dies Screaming and Richard Wenk’s Vamp (both hugely underrated films, in my opinion).
Other notable Blu-ray and DVD releases for October 4th include X-Men: Apocalypse, House of Manson, Daughter of Dracula, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, They’re Watching and Chosen Survivors.
The Earth Dies Screaming (1964) (Kino Lorber, Blu-ray)
Their target: Humanity.

A new indie horror film is in development. The film is titled Death Ward 13. Filming will take place in Los Angeles, in the Winter of 2016. And now, a movie poster is available for the film. The film's story deals with Stephen's Sanitarium. This facility is slated to close. Four nursing students are helping with the transition. But, the lunatics are running the asylum. Under attack, the nurses quickly learn who is in charge - the criminally insane! Bone Crusher Films will produce this horror outing. This will be the first production for this studio. And, more details will be posted on Death Ward 13, once they are released. Release Date: 2017. I know this is a horror site, and we’re all about the blood and the scares and guts hanging from the trees and all that, and I know that we’re supposed to only celebrate Halloween and ignore all other holidays, but I gotta tell you something, I really do love Christmas.
Shhhh… You promised.
I love Christmas the way only a middle child of a divorced family can: unhealthily.
Christmas is supposed to be a time of sharing and caring and family and fun. I’m the sicko horror fan who doesn’t really celebrate it, so I’m of course the kid who hates Christmas. Bullshit, I love Christmas. Sure, my favorite part of “Gremlins” is the Phoebe Cates Santa speech, but that’s...

Despite its rampaging monster approach to the holiday season and the imposing, sort-of terrifying giant horned goat-man who provides its title, Krampus isn’t, at heart, an anti-Christmas picture-- it has at least one bloodshot eye pitched toward seasonal classic status. The movie’s story is centered on a family at war with itself—semi-sophisticated suburbanites Adam Scott and Toni Collette and their kids hosting a clan of boorish, right-wing Walmart-warrior relatives headed up by David Koechner and Alison Tolman— who finds itself besieged by the impish and deadly forces of Krampus, the flip-side of holiday cheer, Darth Vader to Santa’s Obi-wan. When the only child left in the family who still clings to his belief in Santa Claus has the last vestiges of Christmas spirit (here so defined as the will to make sacrifices for the good of others) derided out of him, he tears up his last...

It’s the holiday season where most are thinking egg nog, fluffy snow, decorating cookies and Santa Claus. But if director Michael Dougherty has anything to say about it with his latest film Krampus, this festive time of year will include a darker Christmas legend whose shadow over pop culture is growing.
Ancient folklore warns of Krampus, a myth that has been traced back centuries throughout European cultures. Santa rewards the nice; Krampus punishes the naughty. Santa brings laughter and joy; Krampus unleashes darkness and mayhem. Santa gives presents; Krampus takes souls.
Dougherty says, “The same way that Americans send out Christmas cards, Europeans have this rich tradition of sending out Krampus cards. I was shown these beautiful illustrations of this creature called Krampus, who stole children, and images of people cowering in fear. Still, they had such a fun, mischievous quality, similar to our Halloween. I found that appealing...

All Through the House is written and directed by Todd Nunes. The film stars Ashley Nunes, Jessica Cameron, Melynda Kiring, Natalie Montera, Lito Velasco, Jason Ray Schumacher, and Johanna Rae
Being asked to write a spoiler-free review is always tough, because a large part of my job as a critic is to let you all know if the movie I am reviewing is something you'll all want to see, and a good critic generally does this by describing the film, and letting the reader make up his or her mind. When I'm limited in what I can say about a film, it limits my ability to accurately describe it. I don't think I am giving away too many spoilers though when I say that All Through the House is a Christmas themed slasher about a killer dressed as Santa who kills women and cuts off their boyfriend's penises.

A trailer for All Through the House was released earlier this month. The clip shows a young child humiliated by her mother. Later, a killer has appeared and people are turning up bloodied, in this feature from director Todd Nunes. All Through the House was completed in February, with plans for a release set to come this way soon. As well, the film stars Ashley Mary Nunes (Robot Combat League), Jessica Cameron (Truth or Dare), Melynda Kiring, Jennifer Wenger and many more. The film's official trailer and artwork are hosted here. To develop the story more, a young child has gone missing. A neighbourhood is engulfed in fear. 15 years later, to the date, Rachel (Nunes) finds herself terrorized by a masked killer. Now, Jingle Bells are replaced by dangling eyeballs, with a killer Santa ready to collect on a century of unpaid Christmas gifts. The first trailer for All Through the House...
