Babylon character posters bring the cast of Damien Chazelle’s drama back to Old Hollywood
Image
Order a round of drinks and prepare for a sweaty night on the dance floor because Paramount has debuted a new collection of Babylon character posters. Set against a bustling nightlife fueled by music, merriment, and plenty of martinis, the new prints make it impossible not to feel the heat of Damien Chazelle‘s spiritual successor to La La Land.

According to the official synopsis for Babylon, the film is “an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, Babylon traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.”

Damien Chazelle directs and writes Babylon, with Marc Platt, Matthew Plouffe, and Olivia Hamilton producing. Michael Beugg, Tobey Maguire, Wyck Godfrey, Helen Estabrook,...

Cheri Oteri Revives Barbara Walters Impression for CNN's New Year's Eve Special
Image
Two decades after leaving Saturday Night Live, Cheri Oteri suited back up as Barbara Walters for a special appearance on CNN's New Year's Eve Live 2020 special. This year, the special was again co-hosted by Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper live from Times Square. Shortly before 9 p.m., Cohen announced that a special guest was "beaming in" to join them from Los Angeles, and as Walters, Oteri magically appeared in the frame Star Trek-style to do just that.

"Oh, Andrew, Anderson, once again, it has been a pleasure for you to have me on your alcohol-laced pedestrian New Year's Eve special during the apocalypse we call 20/20," Oteri's Barbara Walters says. It's clear from their reactions that Cohen and Cooper are big fans of the impression, as both have trouble keeping their laughter contained throughout the segment.

During the faux interview, Walters accepts a glass of champagne, admitting that she...

HBO Max New Releases: December 2020
Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Time and time again during this year’s pandemic, movie studios have had to make the best of a bad situation. HBO Max’s list of new releases for December 2020 comes along with the most extreme example yet.

WarnerMedia undoubtedly had big plans for Wonder Woman 1984 when it scheduled it for a holiday release last year. After moving it to the summer, however, the conglomerate had to delay its theatrical release time and time again. Now HBO Max is the lucky winner of the saga, as it gets to premiere the long-awaited sequel on its servers on Dec. 25.

While Wonder Woman 1984 is definitely the headline this month, there are some other intriguing streaming options for HBO Max in December. The month plays host to a whole host of high-powered documentaries like Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults (Dec. 3), Alabama Snake (Dec. 9), and the Tiger Woods documentary Tiger (Dec.
