Opposites attract (?)

You couldn't possibly spoil the story of this if you wanted to. It is quite predictable to say the least. Sometimes we may wish life would be as easy to read/predict ... as are some of the movies we watch.

Having said all that, it still is quite the fun ride. And while I totally disagree with how the "big fight" is being told and explained at the end to give us what we (and the characters want all along), it still can be worth your (viewing) while ... the actors make it so. Either because of their looks or because of how they .. act - or both.

I really love it...

A man moves in an apartment next door to a female lawyer. Totally opposite people, but we the viewers know better right!?

Yes its predictable but who cares. Sometimes you just need something else besides Game of Thrones and a french art movie.

This movie is fun, lighthearted and with that special Italian magical movie dust sprinkled all over it.

Check it out.

Sarah Felberbaum Sarah Felberbaum Sarah Felberbaum

Most rom-coms are crafted in such a way that we gotta become our most idiotic selves to enjoy them properly. This is not a huge problem as being dumbed down is part of the game filmmakers and viewers play together. Yes, it takes two to tango.

Is this one dumb enough? Definitely. Good enough? Meh. The premise is nothing original. Looks more like a random page from the recipe book for rom-coms. Doesn't make us care about any characters.

One thing stands out though: Sarah Felberbaum.

She is not only gorgeous (as usual), but also acts so naturally all through the film that you get frustrated they couldn't produce a better script for her.

Cameron Diaz shined in The Mask mostly because of her looks. Her presence in the film became almost as great an experience as the movie itself.

The ratio between Sarah Felberbaum and this stereotypical rom-com is way sharper. Felberbaum outgrows the mood of the film in every single scene.

Replace Luca Argentero with anyone else and the movie wouldn't lose anything. Replace Sarah Felberbaum, it might have sucked big time.

Great romantic Italian movie

That was a well done funny romantic movie with all its ingredients to spend a good time.

All in Italian and it's language charm.

Glossy Italian A feature

This is the first film from short film director Croci

It's a glossy Italian romcom. with the beautiful people leads as a shrink specializing in marriage break-ups and a divorce lawyer, on a collision course (literally - from the opening sequence.

They come into conflict over everything from parking their cars to the raising of Felberbaum's chubby son who turns to Argentero for professional advice.

Attractive good living settings and polished colour production values, a nice example of the popular entertainment end of Italian production which doesn't get all that much action in the Anglosphere.
