This is one for the books.

Many have hailed it as the "Citizen Kane" of El Paso cinema. The performances by its leading actors were astonishing, especially from Mr. Becerra who deserved an Oscar nod for his performance as the eccentric Thomas Carter. I cannot stress how important this role is for him. He made Tom Hanks look like Ben Affleck. Everyone else was good. There were many scenes in which the movie kept you at the edge of your seat. Like the one scene where Carlo Becerra grabs the ferocious cannibal and threatens him in order to find his sister. Great stuff. Overall it's unique style, and authentic mise-en-scene are superior to those of other locally made films such as "Da Pinche Code" and "BorderLords 2". If it weren't for Carlo's performance, the movie would've been a solid D+.
