This movie has the best cinematography I've seen so far. If you watch it you may be amazed on how the director make the camera scene angle, light that coop so well to make a quality screenshot that produce a satisfying moment for the cinematography itself.
However about the story line, I think that there are something missing in the movie that the director not clearly input so that at least some of us understand on how does the director think.
I believed that when a director make a movie it reflect the director personality itself. In this case I think what the lack thing are was the ability to make audience understands you and ability to convince your audience.
Compare to Christopher Nolan movie he like to make a questionable movie with unsolved ending. However the way on he explain things during the movie help audience understand the concept that he trying to make. At least I can say that audience will understand it movie and convince about it rather than just leave you hanging.
In this movie perhaps if you see until the end you will wonder what are the things that the director want to show us. You will feel like you are hanging without a thread. Just floating without knowing where you should go.
However I leave that question mark to the director perhaps.

The film received many positive comments from various quarters. But I have a feeling a little skeptical about the review. Terbaik Dari Langit have had the picture is so pretty enough, but there is no content in it. I'm still wondering a few things that are a little fuzzy in this film. Too much empty space in this film that raises many questions to the audience. The film is like no direction and seemed to be made by an amateur.
The results were so disappointing from Malaysia Film Festival best director (FFM26), Nik Amir. But the credit for the actors who give a high commitment Although this film is not so nice. The soundtrack is also very normal but catchy by the indie band, Pita Hati. I will not watch this movie over and over again.

This movie is about friendship and the different interpretation of death.
It is a heavy film layered with many figurative expression. It is not a sci-fi movie and UFO is being used as a metaphor here. I personally love the movie because it reminds me of what I missed the most, my friends and our adventure.
In the end when you realised why Berg gone through all that and for what, it'll just make the entire movie sweeter.
So do watch, endure a bit during the snoozy part because it'll all be worth it. Even after 7 years, this movie is still very dear to me.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Terbaik Dari Langit. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Berg's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislikeTerbaik Dari Langit truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Berg's existential catchphrase "Hiba," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Nik Amir Mustapha's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Terbaik Dari Langit tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
