A movie that doesn't to make sense to exist; there's no plot, the script is poorly written, from character development to the themes tackled. We are often witness to scenes that are completely disconnected from each other. In theory, there are villains who control the world, okay? However, they are never introduced to us, we don't know their goals or why they do what they do. Throughout the movie, we are thrown back and forth and, to make matters worse, it's filled with a mixture of confusing new age theories, aliens, government, and religious conspiracies that, if taken separately, could have made sense. The director is making their first film and it shows; only someone who knows nothing about cinema wouldn't see the problems with shot/reverse shot, which is incredibly annoying. The special effects range from decent to 1999 standards, nothing is saved.
A film that baffles the human mind and transcends beyond our feeble understanding of reality. Truly one of the filthiest abominations I have ever had the misfortune of witnessing. I now know that God hates us, and to be honest we deserve it.
I have hardly ever seen so much trash, dreadful CGI, inconclusiveness, miserable recitation and nonsense screenplay in a movie which from the trailer seemed interesting. A bad mocking of a number of american movies, with a bit Italian-season conspirationism and an editing which makes even more unintelligible the yet quite delirious plot. At half duration I couldn't wait the movie to finish, as anything hardly happens; in the theater someone even went away before.
I can't blame too much for the visual effects, but I'm also sure that in order to write a decent plot, a Hollywood-size budget is not required at all.
I state that i'm not a fan of the genre but this film intrigued me because I love Italian cinema. The film explores worlds of infinite resoures, space, time, air, earth. There are symbolisms, elements for thought on the nature of the world, of the human soul. The plot (perhaps sometimes the thread is lost a bit) is pressing, it captures you and ignites the imagination. I liked the scenography, the photography, the actors, the costumes, the voice actors, the music that characterizes every single scene (the final song by Dimash Qudaibergen is wonderful)..An interesting film that I would see again..
