In a country where almost every day a woman dies by the hands of her partner, a story where a woman is strong enough to fight for herself and for her true love.

The film starts with good intentions, tackling relevant and current themes, especially considering the social background of the country where it's set. Unfortunately, the plot is predictable from the start, offering very few surprises. Visually, it's well shot, with good cinematography and some beautiful scenes that highlight the contradictions of the place. However, the extremely slow pacing makes it hard to stay involved, dragging the narrative down. As for the cast, apart from Claudia Gerini, who brings experience and charisma, the performances are mostly mediocre. Overall, a missed opportunity with wasted potential.
