I've watch worse movie.

This has flat characters across the board. There is zero character development. The dialog is mediocre and the delivery is not great. There is little reason to care what happens to these people.

The sheriff blaming a mysterious break in on Mexicans crossing the board is unnecessary. A big take away is that everyone in Texas needs to have a gun, no particular reason since guns don't play much of a role.

I'm sure it plays well for the xenophobic Texans.

But the ending is what really sinks it. Completely random. Bad special effects. Zero resolution.

Watch if you're bored but do not expect to feel satisfied with any part of whatever this is.

I will not waste my time on review. DO NOT watch this....can't say movie! Complete dissaster. If you planing to lose your time on this, please dont. This is not even C production.

This movie failed in every possible way to captivate me and my attention.

Its badly shot, all the actors were awful and even the effects.

I stop after 30 minutes since nothing was happening.

Wooden acting at best, a script so lame you'd shoot it and camerawork you'd be ashamed of.

There is no back story, or character building at all, the "dad' and I use that term loosely, comes across more as a weird family friend, the mother is ever-so slightly better but not at all convincing, there is no chemistry whatsoever between ma and pa making the lack of a relationship a bit creepy. I think the kids were probably family members of the film makers or cast, else auditions were likely "you'll do"

The plot was all over the place and cringeworthy to watch, the dialogue was just stupid most of the time and certainly not helped by the bad acting. Even the sound scene was bad starting with an attempt at painting a creepy scene but coming over as the start to a trance track.

The ending left me gobsmacked, it was genuinely a WTF moment.

I should've known after the first minute. The acting is beyond terrible. The story is stupid as *#&#^. I'm infuriated that I wasted 4.99. We wound up fast forwarding to the end just to confirm what we knew. We could not stand one more painful minute. Do NOT waste your time.

It's hard to put a new spin on this old story. This time they did though. It's not the worst movie of it's type, and not the best. It's certainly watchable. The acting is a bit on the average side.

In my view I will Give This Movie Rating 1 Out of Hundered 1/10.

I went in blind, and came out satisfied. Acting is fine, the young boy is really good. Its scary and tense, with likeable characters, spooky house and an awesome ending.

I loved that it was actors and not cgi who played the evil beings.

Its not perfect, by all means.

In the beginning there is an earthquake, and it leaves a large hole in the backyard, wich goes down tens of metres. The father just covers it with two pieces of thin planks, laid loosely upon the opening and thats it. With two young kids playing there, I would have put some effort in covering this death trap.

The father is a scientist, and a bit too stubborn about the whole haunting thing. He refuses to believe it, even when confronted with a terrified wife, opened cabinets, noices and slamming doors. (Yes, we all know ghosts and demons do not exist, but in this movie, they do.)

I recommend it.
