This is a French Canadian drama which is very well written but exceptionally well acted and directed. The story line is complicated but credible. What distinguishes this series is the superior real-life-like acting that rises way above the schlock that passes for drama on most networks.
The English sub-titles are good but unfortunately miss much of the French Canadian slang and expressions. I have finished season one and was motivated for the first time ever to post a review because this show deserves to be widely enjoyed.
