One Crazy Cruise is definitely insane. The events are out there, yet they're fun. The acting is okay and the story could have been something special.
Overall, it's an enjoyable summer movie.

The crew could have improved a lot to create this teenage film a lot better. They did not add enough effort and strength. I understand what they were trying to do but it was not fully executed. The storyline of this teenage film was a bit weak. I do understand the message they were translating to viewers. The cast selection was alright. I am a fan of Kira Kosarin. She clearly knows what she is doing every time that she is on screen. The chemistry between the cast members could have been stronger. This teenage film reveals to viewers that working together can bring everyone together. That needs to happen in order to make the world of today a better and safe place. This is an alright teenage film that could have been better.
Ellie, Nate, Piper, and Cameron are the kids of Ryan Bauer and Sophia Jensen. The mixed family is going on a cruise. Ryan had written an app for the cruise company which is going online. The kids get hypnotized by a magician and wake up the next morning with all kinds of craziness and no memories of the previous night. Their father's important computer is gone and it has the only copy of his app.
This is Nickelodeon. It's filmed on land which is a little disappointing. The problem is that it doesn't look like a ship. I really want a ship. This is The Hangover for kids. Instead of a tiger, they have a seal. Instead of a groom, they're looking for a tablet. It's all very kid-friendly wackiness. This is weak Nickelodeon production, but I do like the kids. The story is an excuse to do wacky adventures.

Just when you thought taking a cruise was unsafe. Along comes ONE CRAZY CRUISE! This is suitable for all ages. The casting is great on every part. Each actor brings something lovable to each character, and watching them interact is pure joy. The direction is quick, smart with some really wonderful shots and angles. The production value stands out as and makes it pop. But the thing that really makes the magic is the writing! It is Smart, Witty, Clever writing that makes a big splash, and makes taking a Cruise Fun again! The writers are to be applauded for taking a good story and making it a great script. Something great will surely spin off for the writers, producers and cast. A sure hit for Nickelodeon. A sure safe bet for parents and kids will enjoy the film many times. The music and raps are fantastic, I was singing the tunes for two days. Nice to see great writing come to life. All aboard!
