An Underrated Foreign Fantasy Film
Wow. This film impressed me with how solid it was. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful story. Like most fairy tales, I am Dragon is very straight forward with no big twists but the execution is divine. The characters are very well developed and you become attached to their journey.
The sets are exquisite, the CGI is fantastic and the color grading is especially beautiful. I am Dragon is the Russian version of Beauty and the Beast but more fantastical. The best part is this is a great movie to watch with kids or even if you're an adult, you'll like this fairytale. I watched it with english subtitles and I enjoyed it.
