My point of view.....
What surprised me most was when I watched it a second time and caught more than I did the first time and I like that in a story. I caught more the third time which led to the fourth viewing to fully digest the entire movie. The fifth time I was sure I had it: well done, you don't come across true art anymore that has so many levels. (Yeah, I attend a lot of film festivals)
The character development and technique used to tell the story kept me fully engaged and the editing really highlights the actors contributions. I know everyone raves about Sarah Tice's cinematography, but the creativity of her shots combined with the pinpoint editing really accentuates the beauty of the lighting and color as it pulls the audience in as if a participant.
