This movie actually is pretty decent, it shines a light on a subject that people like to ignore or pretend doesn't happen.

A mother with very obviously mental illness is obsessed with her own daughter, there is a very clear scenes that show the mother has abused, molested and committed sexual assault on her daughter over a number of years, she is so obsessed with her daughter that the mother is willing to do anything she needs to make sure she doesn't lose control of her either, this also means not allowing anyone trying to be her friend etc is a potential target for her mothers wrath.

Its definitely worth watching and for an indie movie they did a very good job overall.
