One of the best kdramas I've watched
The show requires a bit of patience, but if you give it time, and if you're willing to follow the lead of the show and allow it to sadden you, it'll be one hell of a ride. I loved watching the main female lead have her character development, but more than anything, the portrayal of misery and that brokenness that you can't easily escape got me. I loved how we knew the ending from the start, and the entire show gave us a chance to understand the character and the decision he made. A decision that wasn't exactly his, but something he couldn't run away from. I loved how he found love, and that made him want to live, but he still died because the pain and the hurt overcome his will to live. As someone who's been struggling with depression and anger issues for decades, it really touched my heart. It hurt, but it was also sweet at times.
