Could be good but too bias
Maybe watch if you're bored like I did? The premise is cheesy so I just skip past the intro and pageantry in the beginning. I like cooking comps and found it interesting to see what the chefs did with their ingredients.
The biggest problem is the way they judge the food. There is only 1 judge so it's totally up to their personal bias / preference if they like a dish. Some of the judges are a joke like the episode with Jose Garces (sp?) that everyone has rated so low and is complaining about. Some judges are ok. If they kept the judging blind the entire show, maybe it would be ok but they don't. They reveal the chefs after the first taste. Why?! Sometimes it doesn't matter much but sometimes it makes a huge difference. Like if there a Japanese chef v a "titan". When of the two dishes one is Japanese and one isn't, it's pretty darn clear who made what. I would maybe watch the next season if they fix the judging but after the last episode of season 2, I don't think I would stomach watching another chef getting beaten down by bad judging.
